You can’t argue with all the other great reviews. Little Waves is located in a peaceful cul de sac and only a few minutes walk to the centre of Seahouses. Having its own parking spot is a real bonus. Karen’s place is brilliantly appointed with everything you would need for a fantastic stay, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Check in was easy and Karen was a super host, responding quickly to any questions we had. All in all, highly recommended.

The Snug met our needs exactly, and Alison had thoughtfully left many extras in the kitchen to make our stay comfortable. We were sad to leave! Perfect location for exploring one of the most scenic stretches of Hadrian's Wall, very convenient for some of the best sites. We are already planning to book again next year.

I cannot fault this place, beautiful inside and full of character with everything you would need for a holiday. Located centrally with everything Kelso has to offer on your doorstep. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Will & Dawn’s place. They’re very friendly and helpful in providing all the instructions and information we needed ahead of our trip. Our children love playing (and feeding!) their rabbits & hamsters and the indoor heated swimming pool was simply a bonus to have when it’s raining outside. The place was very cosy & clean and it’s a great location to explore Northumberland!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The place is beautifully decorated with so much character—stylish, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The setting was perfect too—peaceful, charming, and a great base for exploring the area. What really made the experience stand out were the hosts. Super friendly and welcoming, with incredible local knowledge that totally upgraded my trip. From hidden gems to the best spots to eat and explore, their tips made all the difference. Can’t recommend this place enough—already looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful apartment with an incredible view of the lake. Sparklingly clean, well equipped, comfortable bed. Little extra touches like breakfast goodies and local fruit cake, delicious! Loved the window seats too. Beautiful walk around the loch, we saw an Osprey diving into the water. So many interesting places to visit in the Borders, a great place to stay.

Tom & Emma were extremely helpful and provided clear instructions for check-in. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and in a great location, very central in Alnwick.

Fantastic stay at Ian’s place in Amble, amazing location for everything in Northumberland as well as plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Amble. Super property for couple or families as well we’re with lots of games and children’s books as well as all the amenities you could need for a long or short stay. Would happily stay here again if we were holidaying in the north east of England again.

Immaculate property. Lovely big kitchen/ dining / living area, with an additional living room- well equipped with beautiful old books and lots of games. Gorgeous garden, very private, and amazing views. Extremely comfortable beds and lovely linen and towels. Very clean and tidy. Everything we wanted and more. We were a group of 8 ladies on a walking / yoga weekend- and we loved everything. We can’t wait to return.

Second time staying at this beautiful cottage and hopefully not our last. Such a nice location, John and Marion are great hosts. The cottage is spotless and has lots of nice touches. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous place no expense spared in the accommodation. Could not say a negative word about it . French restaurant and the Indian restaurant were excellent . Great place for exploring other surrounding areas . Corbridge is really worth a visit too and only a few miles away .

Came for a family wedding at Newton Hall. Perfect location, clean and well equipped and the three bathrooms were ideal for five of us getting wedding ready.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at John’s flat in Alnwick. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-equipped. John’s instructions on use of the house were extremely clear and thorough. Parking was very convenient and free. It was a very short walk to downtown Alnwick. I will add that out of the dozens of AirBnBs and other short term rental properties we have stayed at, this one ranks very close to the top. We will definitely seek it out during future visits to the Northumberland area.

A lovely apartment right in the center of Alnwick. Everything you need and well equipt. Bed is so comfy you really don't want to get out of it! Barry was a super host, and communication was excellent! Will definitely stay again if in the area in the future!

Myself, my partner and friends visited for the weekend and had a fab time. Lesley-Ann was a brilliant host and the apartment was beautiful in the perfect location.
