Eva's Roost is such a beautiful and peaceful haven! Bonnie and Paul were very friendly and helpful. We were offered farm fresh chicken eggs and snow peas from the garden. We and our dogs felt right at home. It was a great opportunity to unplug and explore the beauty of Southern Illinois and the Shawnee forest. We can't wait to come back!

We are returning visitors to the Farmhouse. Jessica is an excellent hostess and provides a lovely place to stay. We highly recommend staying there.

If you are looking for a nice old house in a neat little town this is it. We had our family visit us from the area and it was a perfect place to host from. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking a breeze. Also the host was very responsive to any questions we had about the house and the area. We will definitely stay here again if we will be in the area!
