Small quiet apartment in the countryside. Franzburg is more of a sleepy place with an ice cream cafe, Edeka, Sparkasse and pharmacy and does not offer much for tourists. Here you should definitely be mobile, as it is a good starting point for day trips in all directions. The Baltic Sea with beautiful beaches on the Darss can be reached after approx. 40 minutes. The city of Stralsund and the Rügenauffahrt can be reached in a good 30 minutes. The well-equipped apartment contains a small kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom. This includes a parking space, a balcony and use of the Wi-Fi. Towels and made beds are available upon arrival. If necessary, an extra bed can be provided for a child at no extra charge.

Great apartment, large terrace in a prime location

A beautiful condominium, built in 2010, on the top floor with a huge roof terrace from which you can see the Greifswald church towers is available for rent. The apartment is only an 8-minute walk from the train station, the university or the market square - so central, but still quiet, on a side street. You live completely alone on the roof level of the building - like in a penthouse. The elevator goes down to the floor below. A shared launderette is available. Parking space in the yard.

For activities there is a beautiful large garden with a forest swing, free steam sauna, outdoor shower and tub, a standup paddle, a paddle boat and 4 bicycles.

The apartment (since mid-July 2020) is small, lovingly and specially furnished with clay-plastered walls, hand-painted bricks on the floor, favorite pictures and furniture. It borders the house that we live in as a family with children on an old three-sided farm. There are no direct neighbors, lots of nature and you can make beautiful excursions in all directions by bike or car: Baltic Sea, islands, Stralsund, Greifswald, Rostock, Mecklenburg Lake District, Peene, Tollense...

The modern apartment (about 40 m²) has a small kitchenette, TV, WiFi, double bed, dining area - ideal for 2 people. The manor house is idyllically located in a small village, offers rural tranquility and at the same time proximity to the Baltic Sea. Pool and sauna use by arrangement – perfect for relaxing after excursions to the beach or the region.

Other attractive destinations such as Rügen, Usedom and Darss are suitable for day trips. A travel crib is available for a toddler up to about 3 years of age. An older child can sleep in the living room (sofa bed). Vacation with dog by prior arrangement. A key box is available for flexible check-in. I am also happy to welcome my guests in person.

It is 32 km to Fischland-Zingst-Darß, with its long white sandy beaches. Vacationers enjoy the 145 m² ground-level living space and the large garden to themselves.

Winter special: Ice bathing in the swimming pond at a water temperature of 2 degrees 🥶. The Alte Försterei is located in the middle of nature on the edge of the forest - ideal for enjoying peace and quiet. The apartment is very cozy and open. In the winter, it is particularly nice to enjoy the fire after a trip to Rügen or Usedom. In the evening, in the clear sky, it is worth going outside and admiring the stars in the deep darkness.
