In reality, the two-story building, erected in 1868, was home to a dry goods store. 152 years later, we have wholly reimagined it, using period details to create a space that is authentic to its beginnings. Pinehaven Country Inn is your destination for rest and relaxation! The PInehaven Room is charmingly furnished in country decor and features two twin size beds, ensuite bathroom, mini-fridge, seating and a desk. Enjoy the serenity of our country setting and view of the pond from the deck. This room is located in the guest wing attached to the main house but with a separate entrance. The historic mansion was once home to 17 of Wisconsin's Governors. We are located in the Mansion Hill district on the shore of Lake Mendota.
