Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wimmis

I'm happy to have discovered this quiet oasis in the Vallamand vineyards. Naomi and Romain were there when I needed them but left enough privacy even though they live in the same house. The interaction was very pleasant. The studio is a perfect place for singles with a need for peace and quiet as well as for couples to experience a change of scenery while enjoying the most beautiful view of Lake Murten and the vineyard landscape. The patio is like in another world, the decor is simple but very atmospheric. A Denner is easily accessible nearby via a walk. I would love to come back another time because I feel like I'm born again after the stay. Thank you Naomi and Romain for the wonderful stay!

What a wonderful and peaceful experience it was to stay at Emanuel’s greenhouse. I only wish we had booked a longer stay. His offer (and accepted) to pick organic strawberries from inside the greenhouse was much appreciated.

It’s amazing place to stay.

We absolutely loved this place! The apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The area was beautiful and quiet, just a few minutes walk to the lake. It was easy to drive to interlaken and surrounding areas with lots to do. We would definitely stay here again!

We spent 3 nights here and we had a great time. Location is very calm and quiet, it's perfect to reach the most popular places in the region. The surrounding is very nice, you are close to the nature. In the house we had everything we needed, kitchen is very well equipped, beds are good, we could sleep well. Communication with Simone was perfect. It's good to know that the bathroom is downstairs in the basement, for us it was not a big problem. After all we could get a taste of life in the Swiss countryside.

It was a really beautiful house. Very close to Interlaken Ost train station, Coop super market and restaurants. It's in the quiet and charming part of the town. The outside sitting area in the backyard was my favourite. The hosts are very thoughtful. The place had everything one can need during the stay. It was a perfect stay. Will surely want to return.

It was a wonderful tiny house though big enough for a couple. Really enjoyed the time! I wise I could book it for our whole trip.

We absolutely loved our stay at Roland’s home. The views from the panoramic room were gorgeous all day and night - whenever we were on the property we were either enjoying that room or down at the peaceful lake shoreline. Roland was extremely helpful, a fantastic communicator, and gave a great recommendation for food. We went in many directions and packed our days full of experiences while here but loved coming “home” to Roland’s property to relax and recharge each day. The local town of Sarnen was also very charming! Would highly recommend this stay.

Slightly smaller than expected, the area is super beautiful and the check-in is very easy. The accommodation is new, modern and very clean. Unfortunately, a little remote and without a car certainly difficult to reach. Shower gel and shampoo were not available! We also didn't notice the fresh milk that was included.

Great, very comfortable to stay

We stayed in the apartment for a week and enjoyed the stay. The location is great and you have so many options for activities, but also for shopping, etc. Communication was great, fast and helpful. We were able to check in very easily with clear instructions incl. Photos. Silvia and her family are also very hospitable and spontaneously invited us to coffee/lunch. Even when we came to the apartment, a little something was prepared. If we are in the area, we will definitely rent an Airbnb again via Silvia :)

Reto's apartment is amazing i was stunned by the amazing view it had the pictures don't do it justice. the area is very peaceful and close to the station. Bus service is not frequent in spiez but if you time it right it's they its fine. The place is spacious and there is a play area up top perfect if you have kids. Only downside if you have lots if bags get ready for the stairs specially if you have a stroller. I would love to come back in the future.

It was an excellent and distinctive stay, the accommodation is clean and identical to the photos, the view is wonderful, all cooking and cleaning tools are available in the accommodation

We really enjoyed our time in the Kander Valley. The place is quiet and conveniently located. There is everything you need. Unfortunately, the sofa bed is not so comfortable - but Beno warned us. We can well imagine ourselves coming again.

The surroundings of Doris's apartment are simply WONDERFUL, a special place that will make you feel immense regret when you have to leave. The apartment is small, but it has everything you need, and Doris makes you feel at home, always ready to help you make your stay a great experience. Loved this condo. It was spotless, easy to find and the location was excellent. It was not in the middle of town with the crowds, yet easily walkable. Loved the peace and quiet and the views were amazing. A view of Staubbach falls right in front of the kitchen windows and at night the falls are lit up and look magical. The snow capped Mountain View’s of Breithorn mountain from the deck and literally from the sofa as you are watching tv, were awe inspiring. Comfy furniture and bed and a well equipped kitchen. Lisa was great with recommendations and super responsive.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Familie Hehlen’s place. The house is set in the most beautiful location - it’s an amazing find. The house was spacious (even with 5 adults and 3 children), very clean and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped and my children loved the play area outside. Check in was informative and Familie Hehlen were really helpful when I had an issue with Airbnb cancelling my stay with a week to go! Communication was quick and responsive. Familie Hehlen, thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful home. I’d love to return one day! I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful apartment in a great location

The host was warm, professional, and provided clear instructions for check-in, along with great local tips for hikes, restaurants, and sightseeing. We especially appreciated the welcome Swiss chocolate and a guidebook—it was such a thoughtful touch! The location was ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive or train ride to nearby towns and attractions

Beautiful home in a beautiful place. I highly recommend going there with the intent to stay there. Going up and down the mountain to explore is exhausting

Heidi’s home and the views are truly breathtaking! Book this place, it’s worth every cent. Heidi was an amazing host, very thorough and has pictures explaining everything. The home was spotless. Entry is very secure as it has 2 entry points - look at her instructions carefully for self check in and you’ll be all set. The parking was spacious for our SUV rental. We couldn’t be more happy to have stayed here for our honeymoon. We will certainly be back!
