The guest house is over the detached garage completely separate from the main house for the utmost privacy.

Whispering Waters offers a quiet space to relax and enjoy your time spent away from home. It is a four room cabin adjacent to Caney Fork Creek, which feeds into the South Harpeth River in Fernvale. The cabin easily hosts four guests. The queen size bed is complimented by a sleeper sofa in the living room, which sleeps two as well. It's an intimate space located in a lovely setting. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION is the most wonderful feature of The Franklin Guest House! The guest house is about a 2 minute walk to Main Street. Our home is next door, and when my children were quite young; they were allowed to go to the shopping/dining area of Franklin by themselves. (Back then you could buy fried rice for 99 cents, plus Gray's Drugstore had penny candy!) Such a sweet place to raise a family! Even though stores have changed, the LOCATION is the same!

Our very cool one bedroom apartment (950 sf) is above our 3 car garage. Our home is a 5 acre farm with chickens, sheep and gardens. If you come in the summer you can pick your own blueberries. There is a beautiful patio with a fireplace where is a pleasure to just seat and drink your coffee or a glass of wine. We really have the best of both worlds; peacefulness of country with the convenience of town!
