Absolutely recommended. Accommodation with great views and great location to explore the area. Rainer is super friendly and accommodating. Everything was sparkling clean and well appointed. We enjoyed it.

5 Stars – A Slice of Paradise in Knysna! We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home in Knysna. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed — the hosts greeted us warmly and had thoughtfully left snacks, a bottle of wine, and even a delicious cake for us to enjoy. Such a special touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The house itself is stunning — spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful location made it the perfect place to unwind. We loved spending time on the patio, soaking in the scenery, and enjoying relaxed evenings by the fire. The location is ideal too — just a short drive from town, yet far enough to feel like a private retreat. This place truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Our stay of one night was too short to be able to appreciate Kim's place fully, but we will certainly be back to make more of it! The location overlooking the lake and sea is magnificent, and the patio calls out to be used for meals, reading a book or birdwatching. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen homely and well-appointed. Communication was easy, and when I got lost on google maps instead of having used the available directions, Kim was superquick and clear in putting me into the right direction. Checkin was flexible and simple, checkout as well. In a word - wonderful! Thank you so much!

We really felt at home at Piece of Heaven. It was relaxing and peaceful, as the Garden Route always is. Whatever you need on holiday, is available at Felicia's place and we felt very safe and accommodated. Will definitely recommend a stay!

We had an amazing stay at Samantha’s place. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, the beds & couch are very comfortable, it was clean and very well maintained. The wood fired hot tub was amazing in the evening and the Braai pit was perfect. We loved it and will for sure come back when we get the chance.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Knysna, perfectly located right by the beach. Our private room was quiet, comfortable, and thoughtfully separated from the main house, offering plenty of privacy. The surrounding area was peaceful, safe, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. While there aren’t many shops or restaurants within walking distance, it’s a short 10 minute drive to Thesen Island, where we enjoyed some lovely dinner and drinks. Leisure Island itself offers stunning views of Knysna and is a perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended for a peaceful coastal escape!

We had a fabulous stay at The Cliff House. Dirk was easy to communicate with, met us on arrival and showed us how everything worked. The house itself has incredible views and very well equipped with everything you need to make yourself at home. The jacuzzi overlooking the ocean, the fireplace and being able to spot whales from the balcony were all special moments for our family. The house is in a very safe area with the supermarket and centre of town an easy 10min drive away and it was a great place to base ourselves from whilst doing day trips to other parts of the garden route. The daily cleaning service meant we could fully relax and enjoy our surroundings. Thank you Dirk, it was a pleasure to stay at this wonderful property.

We felt at home as soon as we entered the house. Thesen island is an artificial paradise perfect to relax when travelling along the garden route. We particulary enjoyed having a swim in front of the house when the tide was high.

Peaceful, beautiful & so welcoming 🌲 We had the most amazing stay at this peaceful spot in the wilderness. The accommodation is incredible, views were absolutely stunning, and Jenna was such a kind and thoughtful host — she made everything feel effortless and relaxed. Her sweet dogs were a delight and made the whole experience feel even more homely and special. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in nature with the warmest hospitality. We can’t wait to come back in the future!

What a beautiful place. Gorgeous courtyard and fantastic roof terrace. Peacefull and quiet road 1 minute walk from the lagoon. 15 minute walk to Wild Oats market. Lovely and cosy inside. Would definitely return.

Very easy to book, and great communication from Kady. Kady was very flexible about check in time, and met us at the townhouse to hand over the keys. One parking spot right in front was super convenient. Easy walk to the beach, and all amenities one would want when staying. Great overall. Can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful farm setting. Ample of space for groups. Modern space on equestrian smallholding. Before setting off, just confirm exact location due to maps not quite accurate. Approach from airport side. Other than that- perfect!

Gorgeous, spotless & cosy! Very much appreciated the extra touches that made it feel like home. Zelda was very accommodating and helped us out in a bind, as well as suggested activities in the area when our plans had rot change due to inclement weather. Accommodation is modern, neat and central. Loved the big garden, and enjoyed the bath tub as well. Great stay to relax and recharge.

Christel's place is well located in a safe residential area that is close to everything you could need. Christel is a great host that was always proactive and made sure that we were always comfortable and that we had everything that we needed and more. The place was really well equipped with extra towels and all the cooking utensils you could need. If you are looking for a place that has a look and feel like you are in a cabin in the woods but have full access to shops and restaurants nearby then this is the place for you. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

What a place and what a couple! Marinda and Mario were extremely helpful, kind and friendly to us. The stay is private, secluded and very peaceful - waking up to the birds every morning was a treat! The cottage was in pristine condition and the attention to detail blew us away. We can’t fault a single thing. We also loved the ‘boma’ area with all facilities available to have a relaxing braai and we were provided with a ‘boma basket’ which was a very nice and thoughtful touch. They and their son were incredibly insightful about the area, gave us great recommendations and were always available if we needed anything. They also have a kayak that is available to rent and can guide you on where to go. We will be back 100% and can recommend this amazing place and couple to anyone. Well done to you both!

If heaven was a place on earth, this would be it! Brilliantly kitted out with everything you would need for a getaway in nature. Thoughtful touches, such as milk in the fridge for that cup of tea on arrival, firewood ready for the cosy indoor fireplace, and ice in the freezer for that evenings glass of wine. Nestled in nature with the Gouna forest around the corner waiting to be explored be it on foot or by bicycle, makes for a convenient location. The on-site little restaurant makes a killer cup of coffee and a scrumptious breakfast. Definitely one of my favourite places to go.

The place is extremely nice and the Forrest outside gives you a wilderness feel. It’s a very calm area and the host is super friendly and gives good instructions.

This was our 2nd stay at Davide's place - and it was just as wonderful as the 1st time! Balot's Bay is really unique - we love the walking trails and the peace and quiet. Davide is such a generous host - well stocked coffee station, wood for the fire place, lovely pantry, just to name a few! The house is amazing- it's our favourite Air B&B! We've made so many great memories as a family here- can't wait to return and make more!!

All you need for a great stay on the river! Easy access and great amenities! Close to all the natural attractions. A lovely spot to be at rest!

It was simply perfect. We enjoyed our stay so much and especially receiving the most delicious choc chip buscuits, homemade apricot jam and coffee! Our fur baby also had a little surprise which was absolutely thoughtful. It was exactly what we wanted and so much more. Just bring some Tabard with you! But an absolute 10/10 😀
