"Het Steenuiltje" a beautiful stay in Twente.

This spacious holiday home is located about 1.5 kilometers outside the village of Wierden in Twente. The house has a spacious kitchen with an open access to the living room. There are 2 bedrooms. In the living room there is a sofa bed, which can change into 2 separate beds. There is a spacious bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. The vacation home is attached to the landlord's house. The gardens are well separated from each other. There is plenty of privacy. There is also a free of charge parking.

Beautiful places such as Ootmarsum, Hardenberg and Gramsbergen are close by, but there is also plenty to see across the border. This authentically built American cabin is a replica of the historic cabins that were once built by the first pioneers in America. In the attractively decorated cabin, you will be surrounded by tree trunks and items from America. The original bed is made of round wood. On the bed is a real Pendleton Indian blanket. The Cowhide Cowboy Chair (armchair) is from California and the dining table and chairs from Texas. In the evening sun, it is wonderful to relax in your rocking chair on the veranda.

The Good Gem; to really rest.

Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Het Goede Gemoed; "Afterwards and yet close". Good cozy restaurants are plentiful and also grabbing a movie is done in no time.

Nice place on the edge of the forest and near the village!

Nice place on the edge of the Sallandse Heuvelrug in the cozy village of Hellendoorn! In the back of the garden is our guest house with private garden, living room, pantry kitchen, bathroom/toilet, bedroom with 2-p bed and sleeping loft with 2 single beds above the kitchen. The center is at walking distance. But we also live wonderfully freely, right on the forest and the Pieterpad. April 2025 completely renovated! Unfortunately, we cannot allow permanent residence.
