Ballochroy Cottage

RosalynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay! The cottage was so comfortable and cosy with a great wood burning stove. It was so well stocked with everything you need - tea, coffee, salt, pepper etc which makes all the difference. There was a lovely wee garden for us to sit in and look out onto the beautiful sea and the Paps of Jura in the distance. Karen and Colin were so welcoming and were great at getting in touch before our stay. Would highly recommend this cottage and we’ll definitely be back.

Troonbeachfront I

JamieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Quite simply this is the nicest place I’ve ever stayed ❤️ The location was right on the seafront with a beautiful view overlooking the sea 🌊 the house was warm and comfortable and there was absolutely loads of space 🤗 It had all the essentials such as shower, kitchen, washing machine, cooker, and also a nice big tv and comfy sofa too 🤗 The hosts were absolutely lovely and really friendly as soon as I arrived 🤗 they gave me lots of recommendations on the local area and good spots to go running and it was very nice to chat in the garden with them 🤗 I didn’t really want to leave and definitely hope to return again one day 😝 Jamie 😋

Pier Cottage , Glenstriven Estate , Lochstriven

RobertRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was the most incredibly beautiful property in a stunning location. Pier Cottage is so private and peaceful with views over Loch Striven where you can sit and relax whilst watching the array of wildlife around you or take the kayak out on the loch. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well appointment with everything you would need for you stay. If you are looking for somewhere to unplug from the world and completely relax - this is the ideal place.

This must be the place - Arran, Lamlash

KeirRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a great stay. The flat is beautiful inside and out. Ari and Annika were super responsive to questions and kept us up to date with check in times, and managed to get us in a bit earlier. Lamlash is the perfect location to explore the island, and our dog loved having such close access to the beach! We would definitely recommend, the flat was the perfect base for our wee Arran holiday.

A great wee flat to explore the surrounding region from. Also appreciated that the stuff we were likely to forget (milk, bread, butter, etc) were all in the kitchen!

We had a wonderful few days here in this characterful property, loved the uniqueness of it. The showers are amazing, really powerful. Such a peaceful place and fantastic to see the red squirrels feeding on some nuts and seeds we left out.

We had a lovely stay. The view is incredible and we enjoyed the star gazing at night. Great location to explore Ayrshire. The caravan could do with some tlc but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jonathan was a great host and communicated really well. The big enclosed decking was great for the kids and dogs.

Briarbank Cottage, Isle of Arran

CorlissRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Lovely cottage with stunning views of Lamlash Bay and Holy Isle. Found the kitchen light, clean and well equipped, could never get fed up of dinning at the table with that view. The cottage has a two bedrooms, double bed and two singles, very comfortable, ideal for both family and friends. We found the cottage warm and cosy for the two of us and very conveniently situated near the bus stop. Fiona’s instruction was clear and concise. The Co-op is a 5/10 minute walk away and open till 20:00 if you arrive late in the day and need supplies for the morning, no welcome pack provided.

The Vestry, St. Columbas Church

PaulRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stopped over for a night on a short tour of Arran. The property is quaint, clean and comfortable and is located right on the seafront. It's highly recommended for couples and is only 15 minutes drive from the ferry. One word of warning though; watch your head on the low beam over the bed - my wife still has a bump from banging her head when getting up in the morning!

What a great place to stay; the view is stunning, so relaxing. I requested to stay longer but someone else beat me to it unfortunately; I should imagine this property is very popular. Richard was a fantastic host and couldn't do more to be helpful. Many thanks.

Quiet rural cottage on the beautiful west of Bute

StephenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This cottage is fantastic. Everything here has been thought of. If you were inclined you could literally prepare any main meal here. The location was perfect for us looking for a simple, peaceful base to explore Bute from. The host has placed in the cottage. plentiful maps, walks and references for things to do on the Island. Ettrick bay is a tranquil retreat with amazing scenery in every direction. It has good walks locally and an hourly bus back into Rothesay. If you wish you can walk the old Tram path back to Port Banantyne (about 90 mins). I have to say we were extremely fortunate with the weather (17-21 March) and it was wonderful at the end of the day to sit on the patio with a glass of wine staring out to sea and the Island of Arran. Simply Stunning.

Cuilabhaila House: sea front with stunning views

YvetteRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A spacious period family home, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. The highlight is the conservatory, giving a panoramic view of Lamlash Bay. We enjoyed sitting in comfortable surroundings watching seals on the shore. Only 15 minutes stroll to the peer and local amenities, including the Co-Op. And just 10 minutes drive from the ferry terminal while also located in a quiet spot. We love Arran and highly recommended this property!

Jason and Mairi's accommodation is a gem! Beautifully situated within a gorgeous walled garden with the sea on your front doorstep. The accommodation is immaculate and wonderfully warm. Fairlie is a lovely village with Largs nearby and walkable along the coast. We only wish we had booked for longer. We would 100% stay again and highly recommend to others. Jason and Mairi are fabulous hosts.

Harris's cabin Hunters Quay Argyll

MelanieRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Fantastic cabin in a beautiful location. Communication with George and Maria was excellent - both were very friendly and helpful. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable was available, fresh linen, towels, etc. The walks around Hunters Quay were great for us with our wee dog and the location is fantastic for trips into Dunoon and surrounding areas. We had brilliant weather too so spent late afternoon / evenings sitting out on decking and watching the world go by. Views were outstanding (loch and hills) and despite it being such a huge park, all you could hear were the birds! A peaceful, picturesque and truly relaxing break ! Thank you for having us xx
