Just a short walk or drive down the hill brings you to Shelter Cove beach, the campground deli and store, the airport, nine holes of golf, Gyppo Ale Mill and Point Delgada. Or just stay at the house, relax and BBQ to the sounds of the buoys off shore and the sea lions calling from the point. The Beach House is a great place to be.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway overlooking the beautiful Black Sands Beach. The bottom level of the house is on the cliffs edge so you will have a Birds Eye view of all the whale activity and people watching on the beach. The large deck has glass railing which makes it completely unobstructed. There are no neighbors directly on either side so it is very quiet and private. Newly renovated small-scale kitchen & living room. Just a short walk to the restaurants. Perfect for R&R.

Beautiful views, wooded surroundings, a serene interior and recent renovation make this a home to truly relax in and enjoy. It is secluded and tranquil yet conveniently located less than 10 minutes from town. A cozy, peaceful sanctuary from the busy world. **The driveway is a dirt road and is somewhat steep, most vehicles should be fine - just go slow :)

What an incredible spot! The private and peaceful surrounds make a couple days away feel a lot longer. The lovely dogs visiting, watching the turkeys roam, and sleeping to the frog chorus ... All magical. Not to mention it being a great base for exploration of the Avenue of the Giants. We are already looking forward to returning.

This home was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything one could need for a comfortable stay—but the real highlight was the view. Hands down the best vantage point I've ever seen of the coast and the Shelter Cove Lighthouse. Waking up to that panorama was unforgettable. Would absolutely stay here again.

My only hesitation in writing a perfect review is the fact that I want to go back with my family and hope it’s available… In all seriousness, it was absolutely spectacular even better than we expected. Wonderfully furnished. Kitchen was completely stocked with everything possible and it couldn’t be more oceanfront. 10 stars out of 10. Angelia was easy to communicate with about everything was so perfect. We didn’t need any assistance at all.

My stay at this Airbnb was truly a peaceful and refreshing experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The space was not only clean and thoughtfully arranged, but it also carried a warmth that made it feel like a home away from home. The view was absolutely breathtaking the kind that instantly soothes your soul and invites you to slow down and take it all in. I’m so grateful for the care and hospitality that was shown throughout my stay. Thank you for creating such a serene and inviting space. I would absolutely love to return again

I met Alden Weds night as I was just walking around d the complex. I told him when we first arrived we were very skeptical about everything. The surrounding buildings looked run down and in need of repair. When we entered our unit it was awesome. Clean. Well prepared for guests. Great instructions. When we met I asked him about the place and he explained they were re doing each unit because the place had been run down for a while. All in all. Great place. Very nice. Alden was awesome.

A peaceful, adventurous retreat in the trees! This cozy treehouse was the perfect off-the-grid escape—rustic yet thoughtfully appointed, with stunning mountain views and total tranquility. The drive in was thrilling (definitely 4WD territory) and set the tone for a stay that felt far from ordinary. The space was just right for me and two teens, with comfy beds, quality linens, a sweet little kitchen, and an incredible deck to take in the scenery. The outdoor shower was a fun touch, and the nearby toilet was easy to access. Best of all, the hosts were super responsive and gave clear directions that made finding this hidden gem a breeze. Can’t wait to return for a longer unplugged stay.
