Our family loved this house and location - plenty of room, easy walk to the beach, tennis courts out back, friendly neighbors, easy access to restaurants and stores. Jim was responded quickly when we asked for help with supplies. The spring pollen factor was high - so be ready! We washed the decks and chairs and that improved things. We will return!

Staying at this Airbnb felt like a true escape. The location couldn't have been better – being mere steps from the beach was such a treat, allowing for spontaneous walks and the calming sound of the waves. It was wonderful to find such a genuinely dog-friendly place; my pups absolutely loved it, which made the stay even more enjoyable for me. The entire atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and I found the off-season to be a particularly lovely time to visit, with beautiful weather and a sense of peacefulness. The property itself had everything I could possibly need, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable. Amy was fantastic – always communicative and helpful, ensuring a smooth and easy stay. While there were plenty of options for things to do in the area, I also appreciated the opportunity to simply unwind and work remotely in such a serene setting. The upper deck was my favorite spot for getting sun many hours of the day. I’ve stayed in many airbnbs and this is a favorite!

I absolutely adore this cute little beach house. It was a perfect best friend get away. I felt like I was staging in a beach cottage straight off hgtv. My only suggestion is a full length mirror for the females! Definitely would stay here again.

I have booked multiple Air BnB’s this by far has been the best experience. The home was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. The snacks were an added bonus and perfectly picked! If you are considering booking this DO IT! Board games and books are available. Kristy has equipped that house with exactly what you need to enjoy time as a couple or with children.

Firstly, this house was absolutely perfect!! We comfortably fit 5 people and had plenty of extra space. The house description was accurate, all the amenities were there and worked great. The host was very kind, responded quickly, and showed much hospitality. The house is about a 1 minute walk to the beach and conveniently surrounded by restaurants and stores in short walking distances. The house comes with a beautiful outdoor seating area and has lots of games and books for the guests. Just in general the house has a very cute aesthetic. One downside however, which is completely out of the host’s control, is that there were a few roaches in the outdoor space, but from what we’ve heard that’s an issue in the general area not just this house. All in all, would highly recommend this house and we would love to stay here again!!

This was an absolutely perfect Topsail vacation home! We loved every minute of our stay. The location is absolutely fantastic. So close to the little local shops and restaurants as well as super close to the bridge going over to the mainland.. The house itself was spotless and quite comfortable. Had everything we needed to cook full meals. Plenty of kitchenware for our group of seven. Proximity to the beach is by far the most fantastic detail of this house! The little private sandy beach *yard* attached to the deck is awesome for kids and the beach itself just down a few steps is so amazing. We could even sit in bed and see the ocean waves! This is the best house with beach access and views we've stayed at in Topsail. Also positive to note, the entire property being fenced in felt incredibly safe for kids and was fantastic for our dog. We realized the apartment was a part of the rental unit and we were so pleasantly surprised! It was a great separate space! Overall highly recommend!

Absolutely loved the area and the space! Everything was clean, quiet neighborhood, and close to all of our destinations/attractions! Jeff was very responsive and proactive, answering all of my questions before I even had to ask them! Will definitely be staying again when I’m in the area!

Great experience in this older cottage which has been restored enough to be modern without losing the historic charm. We loved having a fenced yard for the dogs and a private driveway. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you might need. The house was in a great location to make anything drivable within 10-15 minutes. The hosts were kind, proactive, and very responsive. I would absolutely come back here again!

Another great weekend at Sherryl’s place and it’s starting to feel like home. Great location with a close walk to the beach, seafood market, breakfast restaurants, and more. We will be back!

We loved our week at Blue Turtle Cottage! It’s bright, clean and charming. Just a short walk to the beach. Leslie and Kay were lovely hosts. We’d definitely come back if our plans bring us to OKI. The king bed is super comfy!. Thanks for hosting us! 💙🐢

My husband and I just returned from our second stay at One Beachin' Cottage for a long Memorial Day weekend. The cottage is comfy & we appreciate that it's pet friendly. Although the street where the Cottage is quiet and fairly traffic-free, it's walkable to the beach, restaurants, and the boardwalk. We appreciated how close it is to the Tiki Bar, The Spot, and the Veggie Wagon. We will definitely be back!

The house was clean and inviting. Enough room for my whole family and dog. Alot of extra things that was there that I did not have to worry about buying, like beach towels, other beach stuff, cleaning products, dog bowls etc. Backyard was perfect for my dog, I did not have to worry about letting her out and getting out. I would definitely stay again if back in Wilmington.

This was our 2nd time staying at Lisa’s house and it was just as amazing as the first stay! The cottage is in great location that was walkable to almost everything on the island. It was a great place with fenced in yard to bring our dog and had plenty of beach supplies. The neighborhood is very quiet. Lisa was quick to respond to any of our questions. We can’t wait to stay at Lisa’s place again!

My family enjoyed staying at the property for a week at the beach. Walkable to most anything you need in Carolina Beach and is very close to a lake with a walking loop...perfect to take our pup for strolls in the morning and evening (just keep an eye out for the resident geese, as they hissed at us hahah). Very peaceful and quiet too. One thing that stood out to me was how well stocked they were with amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. Little touches like toiletries & coffee pods make such a huge difference. Overall, you can tell that they are very thoughful hosts! One thing to consider is that it is an older building, so you can hear alot of the happenings below you..we had some very loud people for the first few days after we checked in but again, I chalk it up to it being an older building which is common for the area. Furniture & beds were very comfortable...and my husband had a nice spot to do some work in the mornings. Oh & they had an old school nintendo set up...score!

I stayed at the lake cottage with my 3 year old son and we had a wonderful time! We loved the fairy garden walkway to the front entrance and the cottage itself was beautiful! It’s impeccably clean and an inviting space. I also very much appreciated the complimentary coffee station and my son enjoyed the lollipops! We stayed the night after enjoying a day at the beach in Wrightsville and went out to dinner in Wilmington. It’s a short drive to the restaurants in Wilmington - plenty of dining options to choose from! I absolutely recommend the lake cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful stay that is conveniently located to the beach and downtown Wilmington! We’ll definitely plan another trip to come back! We had such a wonderful stay! The place was cozy, beautifully maintained, and had so much charm. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. It was the perfect spot to unwind. A great bonus was having a restaurant with live music just a short walk away. Most of all, our host was truly exceptional, friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect place for our girls trip! It is just across the street from public beach access and a very short walk to restaurants and shops. Ashlie’s place was clean and everything was just as described. I can’t wait to go back!

We had a great week at Jill’s place! We brought our two pups with us and they enjoyed the fenced in yard. We liked the convenient location and short walk to the beach. The place had everything we needed. When we had a problem, Jill was quick to respond and addressed the issues immediately which was great. Made our stay so much better! The only thing I’ll note for future renters is to keep in mind that you’re on the bottom floor with other renters above, which means their footsteps can be very noisy at times. We had our infant with us who goes to bed early and naps during the day, so we were very aware of the extra noise. But other than that, it’s a great spot and we would love to have Jill as a host again!

If you are looking for a special place to get away from it all and enjoy a peaceful setting look no further than What “A” View. It was in a private and quiet area. Plenty of great restaurants with a quick car ride. The house itself was perfect for a few nights away. Cozy, warm and inviting.

This was by far the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in! The owner thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and stress-free. So many little extras and perks that weren’t even mentioned in the description. The photos don’t do it justice! The back covered porch is really large and the views from it are wonderful. And the front porch is very spacious also, with nice benches lining the sides that would seat a lot of people. Just a few steps and you’re on the walkway to the beach also! The furniture in the living room, and the beds, are amazingly comfortable. The outdoor shower is really nice - so spacious and clean! The owner is very nice and super responsive. He really does care about you having a nice stay in his lovely home!

We could not have asked for a better spot to spend a few days on our east coast trek! Close to the beach with applicable beach toys for my boys. We will for sure be coming back in the future!
