The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Absolutely a great place to stay and perfectly located to everything you would want to have and see. A parking spot is available, but it’s so easy to get to her place from the airport and we would highly recommend using the public transportation and forget the car. Enjoy Seattle on foot. No shortage of interesting things to see on foot. This was a wonderful place to stay with great amenities and safe and secured access to the building. We will be back and this will be our go to place to stay anytime we come to Seattle in the future. A shoutout to Judy for being a great host.

Lovely house with water views right within a quick drive of many Seattle area attractions. We had a great stay for a May wedding in the area. Allison has put a lot of thought into the house, with fun games, comfortable beds, and clear instructions for everything. Nearby Poulsbo is high on our list of recommendations.

Peaceful, warm atmosphere with lots of space. Love the view out the living room window of the beautiful, green, forest-like backyard. Can’t wait to stay here again.

I cannot say enough good things about our hosts but also to their cleaning team! House was very homey, lots of extra bedding and towels. All the kitchen things needed to cook big meals for my family! And wow! The games and being baby friendly was so nice! The scenery beautiful and private location! I would recommend anyone with a family to book this home and don’t look elsewhere!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, and it all started with the incredible hosts, Debi and Russell. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and truly made us feel like family. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and were always quick to respond to any questions. The home itself exceeded all expectations. The amenities were far beyond what we anticipated. The views—both day and night—were stunning, and the local wildlife was a delightful surprise. We even saw several bald eagles, which was a first for us! The house is incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi were a huge bonus and the perfect way to unwind after exploring Washington. The modern upgrades and appliances made our stay even more comfortable. There were also plenty of games and toys for kids—though our daughter spent most of her time enjoying the pool. You truly won’t be disappointed.

The house looks just as pictured and is beautifully decorated! You can tell there was a lot of thought put into it such as child safe locks on the toilet and outlets, shoe horn, slippers by the door, and lint roller hung up by the door. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. Best part was it was extremely convenient and close to the airport which made the commute to our early flight a breeze. Only thing that could have been better is if I could get responses via messaging, otherwise, they were responsive by telephone.

This was our second stay at Max’s place, we liked it so much the first time we decided to stay again. We’re local to the area and needed a place to stay while our house was being remodeled. Max’s place became our home away from home, but with a better view! It’s comfy, and is located in a great safe and quiet neighborhood. Max is an excellent host, was flexible about our check-in time and reached out to ensure that things were going well for us. He also made us some super tasty homemade cookies! We highly recommend this location for a stay in the West Seattle area!

We absolutely loved the space! The cottage's location so prime, not only for visiting our friends who live here but everything else Georgetown has to offer. Bloom ❤️ Fonda ❤️ Jack's ❤️ just to name a couple faves 😀 The cottage, patio & sunroom spaces are all super clean, with plenty of cozy bedding. The kitchen has plenty of essentials and the electric kettle and French press were awesome bonuses. We love it here and will definitely be booking again. Lia & Eric

Sara was very polite and helpful . She responded quickly to me when I had questions. The place was beautiful and clean . I was able to enjoy family time with my parents , grandparents , daughter and niece . Everyone of us was comfortable and satisfied.

Wish I could give this more stars, place was comfortable and peaceful, close to the airport and easy to get into the city, but walkable to nearby beaches and cafe with coffee, beer, wine and food. Suzana was very easy to communicate with and was always quick to respond if we needed anything. Before our vacation ended, we were already planning our return - thanks for a great stay, Suzana!

Great stay! Good amount of space for a short stay with my husband and large dog. We enjoyed exploring this area of Seattle, yet was still a quick drive into downtown for an event we attended. Friendly neighborhood and walking distance to a cute cafe that we picked up coffee/breakfast from both mornings. Also a dog friendly area and a short drive to Lincoln Park that we went to for our long dog walks. No A/C in the suite so got a bit warm at times. Overall a great host and space!

There was just little trash in the bins but we really didn't mind and didn't have a firepit. Otherthan that it was a great place to stay. Has all the stuff available for kitchen and bathroom, extra bedding and towels. Was clean save the small amount of trash. Getting lyft there was easy with most arriving in less than 5 minutes. A bit far from downtown seattle if that is your goal but for us it was perfect location to explore the white center area which is where we wanted to be. Their food recommendations were all spot on. Enjoy your stay 10 out of 10 would stay again.

I adore design and it’s rare my partner ever delights in design that much with me, but she reveled in every angle, grain, sanding, and pour too. What a wonderful place to be in, which included your warm welcome and organizing skills. We didn’t even leave for two days bc we were so happy in your home. We hope to visit again!

This is our second time staying here and it is PERFECT! It is a dream home and feels incredibly peaceful! This home has amazing amenities and everything you can possibly need. The soaking tub, sauna and massage chair is perfection. Both times staying here was sparkling clean, quiet and Tatiana has been a wonderful host! Thank you again, we will definitely be back :)

This is such a cute property. We were here visiting friends who live nearby. It was comfortable, had everything we needed, a very detailed instruction and information book, and was soooo charming. I would happily stay here again — or just move in.

We were very fortunate that Renee’s property was available for the 4 days we needed. This was the end of a very busy 3 weeks in the US, and the peaceful house with a deck on the water with seals and otters playing was just what we needed to unwind before the long journey home to Australia. Renee is a lovely host who kept in contact to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. So thankful for the opportunity.

Was a beautiful and relaxing space to occupy as someone learning about the different areas of Seattle! This location and property was perfect for what I needed! I would absolutely recommend booking and would book this property again!

We got into SeaTac on a late flight and just needed a place to sleep before heading north. This place worked perfectly for our family of four adults. It was very comfortable and clean and less than 10 min from the rental car facility

We enjoyed our stay at the groovy lagoon very much! The hosts thought of everything from spices to having a big bottle or olive oil on hand, umbrellas, lots of beach towels. The kayaks were great but one doesn’t have a back rest which makes for a tougher time relaxing on it. The deck is lovely and we spent a lot of time out there, it could use an outdoor sofa but I understand it rains and might get moldy. The living room was a little smaller than the pictures and just has a small seat and the couch. If our whole family was there we wouldn’t all fit in the couch. Overall we loved our stay here and even when it was windy out the deck is super protected and calm. The heated floor in the bathroom was nice as well. The bedding was nice. It’s actually a 10 min drive to gig harbor but we liked being away from the hustle of the harbor to be honest.

This place is amazing. Check in/check out was a breeze. The outdoor area was great to relax in. Hot tub was very well maintained and clean. Easy to operate. The house was very clean and quiet. Nice neighborhood, walkable to public transport, parks, and cafes. Also quick access to highways so getting around as easy. Awesome views of the Space Needle. Also dog friendly. I’m would very much stay here again.
