Holiday houses in Wheaton

Our group of 9 adults and 4 children, ages 4 and under, had a wonderful time at this spacious home. There were so many spaces to be, inside and out. We used the pontoon, played badminton in one part of the lawn and brought a cornhole game for another part. The kids loved the playground and small rock area underneath... actually less messy than sand. Carolyn told us about another huge playground about a 10-minute drive away that me & my husband went to look at and it was awesome! For all ages of kids and a huge beautiful beach and a walking/scooter? path and bathrooms right there too. And a ping-pong table! So much to do! Had a fire at night, looking out at lake. Beautiful sunset. We brought a fishing boat and they were able to catch bass, northern, and nice sunnies. Nice big lake with beautiful houses to look at on a ride around it on the pontoon. Couldn't have asked for any more! Highly recommend!

Such a sweet home on the lake. Perfect getaway for our family. We hope to be back in the summer months! Highly recommend for a scenic quiet spot to stay and enjoy the outdoors.

Our stay here was just perfect! The place is so extremely clean (both the main house and guest house), has eveything you need, the yard is big and so well maintained, the views are stunning, the lake just steps away is quiet and peaceful (we caught so many fish!), the guest house was so fun for our four young boys, the host was so kind and responsive...just everything about our stay here was perfect! It truly felt like a home away from home! So clean and cozy. So many wonderful memories made there for our family. We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!

I have stayed at the Dakota Line Lodge twice now for guys weekends at Dakota Magic Casino. The location is within 5 minutes of the casino and the house is spotless and half the price of staying at the casino itself making it a great value! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Went out to go fishing and the place was perfect for our needs. Easy to find. Accessible with the trailer. It was clean had even had a fish cleaning room.

My family and I truly enjoyed our trip to Scott's property. The house fit our big crew quite well. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the fun spaces in the house. The location was beautiful and peaceful. While there is a lot of vegetation along the lakeshore, there is a decent beach, and some shallow water that the smallest kids were able to enjoy. For the bigger kids, we brought the lily pad out to the middle of the lake, and they had a blast with that. The outdoor living space was great! Scott was friendly, helpful, responsive.

This was our 2nd stay here and we had the best time. The view of the lake is perfection. Ans we love to play lawn games - and there was plenty of room. Very private location yet the neighbors we meet were very nice. Brand new central AC was fantastic! Will be back next year!

We had a wonderful stay with our three small children (two year old twins and five year old). Vacations are not always easy with littles, but this cabin was perfect! It was clean, fully stocked, and easy to maneuver with pack and plays and “kid stuff.” We loved the beach, sandy swimming area, and having the dock space for our boat. We ate many meals in the screened in porch and enjoyed how close we were to Battle Lake and other fun amenities! This was a great vacation for us. Anne and Dave were communicative, helpful, and everything was straightforward. We would highly recommend this place for your families next vacation!
