Located in the center of our community, you will find it a short walk to wherever you wish to go. To the back of the property, you will find our city park.

Quiet, comfortable country get away

Summer in Wyoming is absolutely beautiful. The sunrises and sunsets can be amazing so whether you are an earlier riser or an evening person you can enjoy. We have a quant little cabin/house here for you to enjoy some peace and quiet. It sits under some huge rather old cottonwood trees that offers just the right amount of shade to help keep you cool and comfortable. You need to plan some time to “get away” from it all and this is the place. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Just a few miles south of Fort Laramie, the Hayfield cabins are located on a 300 acre working ranch with private access to the Laramie River. If you like to fish or just enjoy nature it is a .4 mile walk to the river. We are located 2.5 miles west of Fort Laramie Natl. Park. In proximity to several historic sites, museums and recreational lakes. Just a day trip to visit Mt. Rushmore & Crazy Horse. This is a remote location and low profile vehicles are not recommend for access.

“Our” Glendo Getaway ~ fully equipped house.

In 2019 we built a Barndominium. There are 2 separate homes in one, separated by our pull through garage. We live FT on 1 side and built the other side for when our kids & grandchildren come to visit. The house is comfortable for 4 however, if you have others that don't mind sleeping on a cot/air mattress, please feel free to bring it. Additional fees will apply. If you are in need of a fish guide, please mention that in your message.

This home is perfect for a large group to stay comfortably with plenty of personal space. It was so great to have two living rooms, a spacious kitchen and a wet bar in the basement. The floor to ceiling windows let in the gorgeous views and we saw many curious deer come quite close to the house. We were a short walk to the lake and took a few walks in the snowy quiet. 10 out of 10, would recommend!

This place was awesome! The hosts were super friendly and responsive with us as we had a bit of change of plans! Check in was easy - the boat ramps were super close by - you couldn’t ask for a better location. The house was clean and comfortable & the neighbors were some of the kindest people we’ve ever met traveling! When we go back to Glendo for some fishing we will definitely book again!

This is a wonderful cottage...perfect getaway in a quiet, small town in Wyoming! Alice was a great host from start to finish! We are already recommending to our friends and definitely plan to return. Be sure to have dinner at the oldest bar in Wyoming, Miners & Stockman's Bar & Restaurant...the steaks are amazing!

Beautiful space & location! Modern decor, appliances & all the amenities we could ask for. I thought it looked even better than the pictures. Peaceful gated community. Plenty of parking space for our boat trailer next to the building. Perfect getaway place for my husband and I to celebrate a milestone birthday in style :)
