Our location is very quiet: no traffic noise, just the occasional sound of surf and birds. Not just for horse lovers.

Studio Selah - Parua Bay

Studio Selah is set in a private peaceful setting overlooking the estuary that flows out to Parua Bay. Consisting of a combined kitchenette, dining, living area with queen sized bed and a separate bathroom. Relax on the deck area or kayak or paddle-board out to the bay. Studio Selah is in an ideal location to explore the Whangarei Heads many beautiful beaches and walks. It’s 5 mins drive to Parua Bay Village which has a 4 Square and a couple of cafe’s and is 2 minutes walk to the PB Tavern.

This studio is set in a beautiful quiet environment, with native trees, bush, and serenity. Only a few minute's drive from central Whangarei, this offers you the best of both worlds. Drive into town or other close by attractions then come back to relax away from the busy city life. We have all afternoon sun and amazing sunsets to watch and enjoy with a glass of wine on the deck. We are two minutes walk away from one of the beautiful Parahaki walks which takes you to the lookout at the top.

At Buggles you will find a very quiet and conveniently located guesthouse to meet all your needs in a peaceful countryside setting only 3 kms to the CBD. Spacious apartment nestled amongst beautiful gardens, your mornings will be greeted with the bird chorus, bunnies scampering through the garden (naughty little things) , and cows and horses just over the garden gate. The property boasts privacy with its long driveway, electric gate entrance and surrounding brick wall. The Guesthouse is privately nestled behind your host's historic 1906 Villa, with views of Parihaka Mountain.

Peaceful Garden Cabin

Our cabin is a cosy retreat set in our garden. It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It is only 20 minutes from central Whangarei and 10 minutes from Kamo, Maungatapere and SH1 so if you are travelling it would be great a place to stay. Our garden cabin would be suitable for very good value medium to long term stays.
