Fabulous view and all day sun to enjoy the outdoor area. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need. Comfortable beds. Loved the fire with plentiful wood.

Great family week in Whanganui. Our place was amazing, comfortable, great vibe, relaxing, loved the pool and deck with outdoor bath. Wished we could stay longer. Ken and Jess so helpful and responsive, very friendly. Would love to stay there again.

We had an amazing stay at Pukeatea Farm Stay! Julie is a lovely host, very friendly and helped us with all our queries promptly. Kids loved the pool & the garden. Would love to return if Julie would have us again! 10/10 would recommend! Was everything we expected and more.

Spacious but intimate at the same time. The pool & spa was a luxury. Te Whio Retreat will be among our favorite top 5 Air bnb places in the north island. The retreat offers a private home away from home close enough to everything in turangi. Beautifully presented warm home. Large master bedroom with enough space for our baby to run around in his walker while we got ready in the ensuit. x3 showers with great pressure and heat, all able to be used at the same time. The backyard was enough room for our adult husky, fencing was high and kept her well enclosed and private from view of strangers if they were to approach the property. This home is situated in the rear end of a shared driveway, allowing for maximum privacy from public view. the two neighbouring properties on both sides of Te whio are also Airbnb/holiday homes and we're empty during our time at Te whio, we didn't have to worry about our kids causing "too much noise" whilst they made the most of the pool & us the spa.

Despite an initial hiccup, we had a fantastic time at Tracy and Damien’s home. Tracy was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and will hopefully return to stay here again!

Had a great time at Gina's with the whole family. we used it as a base from which to do multiple day walks in the Tongariro National Park. The hot and cold pools got used everyday, the reclining couches were great and the beds very comfortable. Parking was good

We had a family weekend at Makehu Manor and created lasting memories. Location was beautiful and the perfect place to relax. The house and surroundings were so much more than our expectations and was really well equipped. There was plenty of room and was very family friendly. It was lovely and clean and Lizzie was great to deal with. The pool was also used by most of the family. It is the perfect location for all age groups. Thanks Lizzie.

Cute little home, very quiet and great views from on top of the hill. Has everything you need. Walkable distance to the CBD, though it is a large hill. There’s a public elevator close by if you don’t want to walk up the stairs. Tess was very friendly and helpful :)

Bookdale was just gorgeous. It was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Every little detail had been carefully thought about and presented. Would highly recommend Bookdale & Whanganui as a cool place to visit.

House was well equipped and very spacious.Lovely large back and front gardens.Bus stop nearby but not many buses so we used taxis into town and back. Host was very helpful on the two occasions I called her. There were only 2 of us but would be great for a family. We enjoyed our stay.

This home is absolutely stunning. The views are incredible. The design and comfort are top notch. We enjoyed the walking track and found everything we needed for cooking and grilling. Loved the attention to detail—down to the custom-labeled light switch icons. We hope to visit again soon.

Phillipa was a friendly and helpful host, we immediately felt at home with her. The BnB was very cosy and warm and comfortable. We all slept well, the area was quiet and felt nice and secure. We had a wonderful stay with Anna. The home looked just like the pictures. It had great kitchen facilities and plenty of room for the number of people that were staying (x6). Unfortunately the weather wasn't great (it rained for the 3 days we were there) so extra care is needed if using the ramp leading to the front door as the rain made it very slippery. Apart from that I'd highly recommend Anna's place for a large group (such as my team) or a large(ish) family looking for somewhere to stay. Anna was very welcoming, checked in with us during out stay and accommodated my request for an early check in to allow for visitors that were arriving before 2 pm. A great place to stay if visiting Whanganui. Thank you for the lovely stay Anna.

We loved our stay at Dogbox! We have been fans of Patchwork for a while so we were very excited when we came across this place on Airbnb. We had a great night in with the fire going and the records playing! We’d love to come back in the summer too.

Incredible views of the length of the river & valley. you overlook the mists too coming up from the river. Large rooms, lots of space run around in, loved the library, and the extra spaces to find if you also need a break from the chatter of a group.

We had a great time in Whanganui with lots to do over the school hols. While we weren’t in the house very much, it was comfortable and very well appointed for our group from 11 to 82! The backyard and games room are excellent for families.

Tess is a 5 star Host. flexible with check in. we felt right at home. Kids enjoyed the ample space in and out of the house. The communication was great. Highly recommend Tess as a host and her place. Thank you for having us.

We really enjoyed staying at Jude's accomodation. A lovely location with great views, and easy access to the mountain and Ohakune centre. The accomodation was great, with lots of space, well presented, and all the ameneties we needed. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay in the area.

smelt absolutely fresh and devine on arrival...heaps of games to keep the children occupied...multiple outdoor living areas...very private and quiet...goldfish to keep the children fascinated...comfy beds...host are perfect with the communications...A+ stay

A lovely quiet spot 20 minutes walk from town. The accommodation was very clean, warm and comfortable. There was a comprehensive selection of hot drinks and a nice packet of chocolate biscuits to welcome us. There is a large carport in which to keep our motorbikes dry and safe. I thoroughly recommend Paula's place.

We had a great stay at Kathryn’s place! It was warm and cosy, with heaters in the bedrooms which made it really comfortable. I really appreciated the extra touches – the nice hot chocolate and container of chocolate biscuits were a real treat! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals, and the beds were super comfortable – I got three great nights of sleep. It’s also in a great location, less than a 10-minute drive to Whanganui town centre. Would fully recommend staying here!
