This beutiful apartment is in a little village outside the bigger village of Ypres. Perfect. Ann tells me that it's a lovely walk (I think she said about 45 min) to the village if you don't have a car - though I would recommend a car for exploring the area. The apartment is so cozy, clean and welcoming. And the bed is perfection. I just wish the weather would have cooperated and we would have been able to enjoy the shared garden. Though Ypres is much smaller than Brugge or Ghent - it's perfect. Great restaurants in the village square and a central location for all the drives to the WWI memorial sites. I highly recommend staying at Ann's apartment, it's a warm and comfortable space to start and end your long days of exploring.

We had a great time at Stijn's place. The location was great, although not completely secluded in the forest. Unfortunately, the mattresses were worn out and, in our opinion, should be replaced. We liked that there was a welcome bread and plenty of coffee capsules. The pump was loud, but it only started when you used water. So, this didn't bother us at all. Everything was clean and the mat between the trees was world class! We would recommend the place.
