This is my FAVORITE place I have stayed. It is glamping at its best. It was clean, the property was beautiful, and my son loved the animals. This was the most comfortable bed I have slept in at an AirBnB. I would like to go up to Taos once a year to experience this stay again.

Another gem in beautiful upstate NY. This was a last minute find and I’m glad it was because the experience was incredible. I had spent a few days ‘disconnecting’ prior in another Airbnb but this took it to another level. First you start coming in with the right expectations set by Mina, which is that this is a place with no cell service and very very limited WiFi (only near the entrance of the campsite) plus you also have limited amenities but enough of them to feel comfortable. Once you arrive you feel like you are in a truly magical place, which it is, the campground is an extension of nature. The tipi that I stayed in was something that I never experienced before and I felt like I was actually living in the woods. I don’t want to spoil too much because this is more of a place to see it to believe it. But take my advice and if you’re ready to truly ready to disconnect, book the stay.

Great experience to sleep in a Tipi. We even woke up and saw a couple deer as we got out of the Tipi. The best part of the stay was the host who was so helpful and friendly. We received some great suggestions from the host on what we could see on our drive. Very helpful.

Paul was an incredible host. So kind and welcoming. We were so cozy in our tipi which was perfectly lit at night. The walking paths were lit as well. We fell asleep to a bit of a rain… it was perfect! In the morning we woke to fresh bread, farm fresh eggs to be cooked, and homemade jam. Ahh… we can’t wait to return! Thank you Paul!

Nous avons été ravis de découvrir que des travaux d’embellissement avaient été réalisés récemment ! le lieu est encore plus charmant que sur les photos, qui ne sont d’ailleurs plus à jour ! Bright star campground was amazing! Everything was exactly as we hoped. Robin and Troy were excellent hosts and we would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

Georges tipi by the river was awesome. We loved getting to know Paonia from some of his recommendations.

We had a lovely stay at Can's apartment. Even though we arrived a bit earlier than our check in time, Kubi was able to store our bags so that we can tour until the check in time. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, quiet and convenient to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We would gladly stay at Can's apartment if we return back to Istanbul.

Rigtig fint og charmerende sted med fantastisk Vibe. Teltet var hyggeligt og rummeligt. Hyggeligt med den lille brændeovn i sommerdage med regn. Virkelig lækker morgenmad. Personalet var flinke og hjælpsomme. Stor anbefaling herfra.

Great location and the supplied canoe/kayakes let you make the most of it. If you launch behind the tipi and take a right there's an active bald eagle nest around the first big curve.

We had a great time for mother's day weekend. We fished a ton played board games and cooked around the fire pit. The hosts were so nice brought us wood. It was very peaceful and private. Very clean bathroom. The only con was teepee is right by the main road so if you are a light sleeper like me you nay be up all night because the sound of traffic. We hiked and explored and would definitely recommend.

My kids and I had a blast soaking in the nature! We had an unplugged weekend, and the kids were never bored. On property we swam at the creek and enjoyed birdwatching and looking for fossils. Just a short drive up the road we hiked and rode horses around the Hill Country Natural Area. There were also a lot of playgrounds also by the river in town we enjoyed. It was the best family friendly weekend getaway!

We had a lovely time at the Alpaca Retreat. It was in a beautiful setting. After a busy few days at a Family festival it was just what we needed to unwind a little bit. Heather was lovely and very helpful. Everything was thought of to provide all the necessities and more during our stay. I would definitely recommend. Thank you 😊

This was such a relaxing place to stay. The views are amazing. I had the best sleep and my grandson played with his cars in the dirt outside.

If you’re looking for a little adventure this is the place. We enjoyed the experience of staying in a tepee and all that came with it. It was a pleasure hearing natures sounds to fall asleep to (especially the owls). Brandy was an excellent hostess making sure all our needs were met. The facilities were exceptionally clean and the atmosphere is very family friendly. We will definitely plan to stay again.

Una estancia fuera de serie, muy diferente a todo. La naturaleza te abriga. Muy atentos tanto Lau como Daniel, tuvimos una velada muy bonita con fogata. Les recomiendo traer bombones, queso para derretir o pueden traer cena para carne asada. Sin duda lo mejor fue el perrito HANO quien se quedó a cuidarnos por la noche, un especial reconocimiento para el. Como nota adicional, si se quedan en este alojamiento deben traer obligadamente un premio, una salchicha o pedacito de carne para HANO por el pago de sus excelentes servicios perrunos de guardián. 💖 Muchas gracias por todo.

The Tipi and space were very unique and comfortable, loved how close we were to Darien Lake and food options around though limited were good.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Crista! Das Zelt war nett eingerichtet, uns standen viele nützliche Dinge zur Verfügung, wie beispielsweise ein Wäschekorb und ein Kleiderständer. Die Umgebung ist grün und ruhig. Auf dem Gelände gibt es einige Tiere, eine Scheune zum Spielen, einen Hofladen, eine schöne Outdoor-Küche und ein Hottub zum mieten. Besonders gut hat uns der Tagesausflug mit dem angemieteten Elektroboot gefallen. Crista ist sehr freundlich und war immer erreichbar. Wir bedanken uns herzlich und sagen bis bald! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder :)

We had the best time in the tipi! Laurie and Scott are the friendliest hosts, they gave us some great suggestions about horseback riding and hiking spots. The entire place is amazing and I would highly recommend staying there.
