Relax and enjoy the many treasures of the tower and the surroundings. Ruvo de Puglia is a pleasant and authentic town, from where you can discover Puglia. We had the pleasure to sight a fox regularly and the many sounds of nature in the orchard were enticing. We used many herbs from the garden when cooking. Alessandra provided us with information about the herbs and nature in the orchard. Alessandra was a fantastic host, very informative and responsive. Our holiday was two weeks, during which we enjoyed ourselves more and more.

What a stunning treehouse. The view from the window, the lake and nature looked like painted. A truly magical place. The house is absolutely smartly made and very comfortably built. We came to rest very much, just as we wished. Knut André and his wife Mara prepared everything lovingly and meticulously, so we felt very comfortable and at home. There was nothing missing for us. The kitchen was great. The supply of water, gas, wood and candles was well prepared. The sauna and hot tube have rounded off our stay. Plus three days of bright sunshine. ☀️ What more could you ask for. We even transported our stuff by boat. Thank you for three unforgettable days. Maik, Isabel and Teddy 🐾

For those who love nature and history, every single item is embedded in the tower! History that Raffaele passionately told us, kidnapping us with stories of how he brought this ancient sighting point back to life. The area also offers a lot, starting with the good food recommended by Raffaele himself! In short, arm yourself with a good front for the evening and the sauna costume!

The place is absolutely beautiful, close to Positano and Amalfi. It was really clean, and the host was very responsive. We would definitely choose this place for our next trip.

A Truly Unique and Welcoming Stay From the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be a special experience. This place is truly one of a kind—full of character, charm, and delightful quirks that make it stand out from the usual stays. Every little detail felt thoughtfully curated, creating an atmosphere that was both cosy and full of personality. What made it even more memorable was the incredible warmth and hospitality. We were made to feel so welcome as if we were staying with an old friend rather than just a guest. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, enjoyable, and filled with little surprises that made us smile. If you’re looking for something different from the ordinary, a place with heart and soul, this is it. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will be returning!

Stephen was a great host! He was responsive from the beginning. The property was beautifully renovated with clear instructions—felt prepared for everything. I was traveling with friends, and we had four teens between the both of us. The kids loved the Galaga/Pacman arcade game in the room. They had mini tournaments during our stay. We were able to cook a full breakfast in the decked-out kitchen and dinners on the grill while we watched tubers float down the river. The kids loved the jacuzzi and wading in the river right out back. If we had more time, we would have loved to fish or have smores by the fire, but there was too many things to keep us busy. It was awesome seeing fisherman in their waders doing their thing, and good conversation/company. It was close to downtown and we were within walking distance to Betty’s Country Store which had anything you could need. Also, within walking distance was a go-kart place as a back-up if it rained. Overall, we had a blast! Would book again!

We felt very comfortable! The house is beautifully decorated and if you are looking for a retreat from stressful everyday life, this is the place to be. The relaxing evenings in front of the fireplace or the view from the large windows are worth their weight in gold!

Beatrice’s place is one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed, it looks exactly like the pictures and the pool is very well maintained, we enjoyed our one week stay to the max. We have a six month old baby with us and the place is perfectly equipped with everything we need, including the baby crib, changing table, baby bath, baby seat and even a baby pool floatie!

Note: bathroom doesn’t have a door! Besides that, the place was lovely. Great escape from the world and a very neat experience. We highly enjoyed it and host was very communicative. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

Sari worked with us after original contact person passed away unexpectedly. Jody had asked for a tree to help with Christmas atmosphere. Our 2 apartments had centerpieces that were attractive and emanated the smells of Christmas. Both units had trees. The lower one was outside the plate glass window with lights and red balls. The one in the second apartment was in the living area and really set the mood for Christmas for us all. Jody was so excited about seeing the faces of all of us when we saw the tower. I am sure he would not have been disappointed since each of us explored our units. He would have been so pleased. Thank you for all your efforts to make our stay as pleasant as could be under our circumstances. We did enjoy our time in your place.

A truly magical experience - it's not every day that you get to sleep in a medieval tower! Wonderful and very well-kept furniture. Very kind, flexible and very fast in responding host. 10/10!

Wow what a spectacular and magical place. The views are incredible, the pictures don’t do it justice. From the moment we came in contact with Luca, he helped us every step of the way. The Tower was high end antique features, that I have never seen before. Very tastefully done. We fell in love with the roof top and the town. The town has coffee shop and 2 very high rated restaurants. Luca had great recommendation of restaurants and winery’s. The tower was clean, fresh, and the water pressure was amazing. The shower was incredible. 😍 There is parking at the top , where you can unload your suitcases. Tv in all the rooms. Heat as well. Great internet. The beds are cumfy. I cannot express how amazing this place is. 15 minutes to the top 5 winery’s in the region. We will be back for sure.

Terracina is a beautiful town and the location of this Appartment in the historical center is amazing. There arw many small restaurants in the vicinity and the access to the beach ocean is beautiful.

The water tower definitely contributed to making it an unforgettable holiday for us. It is equipped with everything you need or could need. Loving furnishing and decorative details help to make you feel right at home. Communication was always very prompt and a great deal of appreciation was noticeable. We greatly appreciated the personal and very warm welcome. And we didn't miss anything. The bins were even placed on the street and the surroundings were maintained, so we only had to enjoy and not worry about anything.

What an amazing stay! Staying in Ballynagowan Castle was a once-in-a-lifetime for our family of four. Chock full of character, the vibe was spot on from the gated entrance and down the long driveway to the tower appearing beyond the trees. We became really adept at the winding staircase and appreciated having both a rope and rail. Had fires in the great hall most nights and just unwound. Couldn't really walk anywhere from there, but had easy car access to the Burren, shopping/dining in Ennistymon, and were able to dress suitably for the medieval banquet at Knappogue Castle with the costumes provided. This was a brilliant private tower castle stay with just the right amount of 21st century amenities. Thank you SO much for making this possible - worth every penny. Thank you to Jade for the hospitality and responsiveness - it was absolutely grand. Wish we'd had the chance to meet you. Oh, and my 18-year-old history major and gamemaker created a scavenger hunt - hope someone enjoys it!

We had a great weekend getaway with friends at Tonwell Tower. Matthew is the most gracious host, he's so helpful and responsive, and really dedicated to make us feel special and have everything we could think of. Fridge stocked with soft drinks, serious selection of tea, biscuits, top quality kitchen appliances. Heaven if you enjoy cooking up a cosy dinner with family/friends. The place is beautifully designed. the bedrooms are so cosy and each with its own ensuite that feels private and relaxing. the master has a bathtub with an amazing view. Highly recommended!
