Situated within the grounds of our house it can easily sleep 2 adults and 2 small children. Cot, highchair and 2 single airbeds are available. It boasts a large patio with sunbeds and quality furniture and the jacuzzi is an added luxury, £20 is requested via this app if used. There is a large fully stocked fishpond of which guests are welcome to feed.

Cosy Mersea Getaway

May Cottage is set on a quiet road in the village of West Mersea. Just a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants, cafes and gallery. The beach is just around the corner too! The recently renovated accommodation is set entirely on the ground floor (the upstairs is used by us when there are no guests - you will be alone!) a cosy double bedroom and kitchen diner with breakfast bar leads to a comfortable light filled garden room. Bi-fold doors open onto a sunny seating area with fire pit and BBQ.

Chandlers Cottage offers you a wonderful space to enjoy your holiday. The Cottage has ample parking & is only a 10 min stroll to the beautiful esplanade and beach, where you can relax or participate in water sports, including paddle boarding and sailing. The walk along the beach from the esplanade to the Jetty is delightful, where children can enjoy crab fishing and boat tours are available. Local cafes, seafood restaurants, take-aways, supermarkets and pubs are all within walking distance.

Guests will have access to the well known Green Island Gardens and Colchester is only a 5 minute drive away.
