A simply wonderful cabin! The hosts' service is unparalleled, I'd come back a thousand times!

Excellent host 10/10 and his accommodation was everything and more than what we were looking for. Super comfortable, very clean, spacious, a great view. Adrian was aware of everything. The quad bike ride was spectacular!!!...A place we will definitely repeat and recommend 100%.

This place is a real hidden gem. The cabin is cozy, private and has everything you need to disconnect: pool, jacuzzi, hammock, fire pit… and a river just steps away! Communication with the host was excellent and check-in was super easy. Everything was clean, well cared for and full of rustic details that make it even more special. Ideal for a romantic getaway. I'd come back a thousand times! 🌿✨

Both the BNB and host were incredible! We had a mixup with rental cars our first day arriving and Janice helped us tremendously! All throughout the stay she was responsive and reliable while still giving us privacy. The spot was peaceful and remote with the beautiful sounds of coqui singing us to sleep. I only need to say that this in one of the best Airbnb I've ever been to. It's perfect in all senses. Amazing birds, a lot of nature, a river nearby, beautiful bed, jacuzzi, nice house, full kitchen, TV, places to explore, quiet, calm, and private. I can't ask more about this place. The cabin is beautiful! It's surrounded by trees and you can hear birds singing all the time (we even saw two barranqueros!). Everything was impeccable and super tidy. To come back a thousand times.

The place is very beautiful and very clean , has beautiful views of the lake and a lot of nature around you. The sound of the birds is heard in the morning, it is perfect to rest and very photographable, I am sure they will not regret visiting, and Claudia was very kind to us, the communication was quick and the instructions were very clear , wonderful person. And the girls of the grooming service are a very respectful love, we would definitely return.

The accommodation is amazing, the place is super quiet and the house is very private. There's plenty to do; the jacuzzi is amazing, there's a fireplace in the living room, a grill in the outdoor area, an outdoor fire pit, and much more. The house is large and the rooms are very comfortable. Everything is designed to ensure you have a good stay. For the price they offer, you won't find a better place. If you're looking for a place to escape the city, this is the perfect place.

Listen use google maps for this one, trust me. This is an amazing place and the host some of the best in Costa Rica. Do not hesitate for a moment. It was one of my favorite stays.

My stay at this cabin was excellent. It is located in the middle of nature, in a quiet and clear environment, ideal for disconnecting and relaxing. The cabin was impeccable: everything was very clean, tidy and well conditioned. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, including seasonings and coffee, which was a great touch. The beds were very comfortable, perfectly clean and well located, with a beautiful view.

Such an amazing little place that Rick and Ashley created and shared with us. We were able to check in early and check out late, providing us with even more time to enjoy the area and the property. Enjoyed exploring along the river nearby even during the rainy season. Felt very well taken care of, with Rick checking in with us throughout our stay and always responsive. Highly recommend!!

This home was one of my favorites I’ve been to. The open air concept was so unique. My husband and I loved relaxing on the hammocks listening to the sounds of the rainforest surrounding us. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the week stay. Mosh was great and very responsive. He showed us around the home when we got there and even made suggestions on stuff to do in the area. The people from the community were very friendly and welcoming and we loved playing with the local pups in the area. This is the place that you want to be if you love and appreciate nature and are looking to relax and unwind. We also loved hiking to the river and waterfalls.

We stayed one night. More would have been ok too, there is much to discover around it. From the terrace, we were able to watch a fishing cucan and other birds. It was very idyllic. Very quiet location (only nature can be heard). If you don't have a 4x4, you prefer to park upstairs and do not drive down to the house.

Place is very beautiful, and DO take advantage of the nearby beach - it's hard to spot but it's really easy to get to and is only a 10 min walk. Cons: the stone staircase leading to the house might be hard for some people with disabilities to climb - it was no problem for us, but if you are physically disabled, I suggest mentioning it to the host so that they can prepare a solution. I also felt a bit overwhelmed with the volume of daily messages from host, but on the flip side, they were always available for questions and would reply almost immediately. Overall the place is exactly how it looks on the pictures and the cook Katia was fabulous. We ran out of food on our last day and Katia's husband graciously offered to shop for us, which was a very nice surprise and greatly appreciated. 10/10 would come back.

The place is perfect for those looking to disconnect and relax completely. The cabin is very well equipped, with everything you need so you don't have to leave at any time. Chris and Betty were excellent hosts: always attentive and kind. We had a problem with the hot water and they solved it immediately, with a lot of willingness. I recommend wearing thick and warm socks, as the weather can be cold. The area is very quiet, with no nearby places to visit, ideal for a total rest getaway. The view from the cabin is simply spectacular. I definitely recommend it 100%.

Great place, awesome views from the front and back of the property. Enjoyed our stay and the tranquility.

We seriously loved this place! It’s peaceful, and has wonderful views and sounds. It’s also close by to so many things to do in Uvita! The area is closed off by a gate and requires a code, so we left extremely safe. During the rainy season the terrain to get to the Airbnb gets slick so make sure you have an AWD/4x4 it will help a lot! The AC worked great, cooled the whole place really well and of course Natasha was extremely helpful with helping us get some activities planned, I highly recommend going through her! Horseback riding and a beach day were totally worth it!

We spent 12 days in the BAKO house and it was simply perfect. The hosts have always been super helpful and responded to our few requests always very quickly. The pool was a real plus and we felt very good there quickly. We would highly recommend the place. Can't wait to go back

Even better in person. Such a cute spot and perfectly set up. Only thing missing was a working lighter for the fireplace. We also had a swarm of beetles we had no idea how they entered but I guess this is forest life! It’s super clean otherwise

We’ve spent a few days in this beautiful cabin. The place is spotless clean, very modern and new amenities, the quietest fan and AC! Also, you can find everything in the cabin - from iron, ice in the freezer to juicer / blender if you fancy a smoothie. Car par available, however the cabin is in a walking distance to La Fortuna town but set up away from the crowds. North Fields coffee and chocolate tour is around the corner too. Again, lovely walk and we’ve spotted toucan and other birds on our way there. We didn’t have a car, and drivers didn’t have any problems with finding the cabin to pick us up when needed. So many birds are all the time in the garden! It was amazing to seat with a coffee or beer and watch hummingbirds feeding on the flowers. And the volcano view from the window, magnificent! German and the family are amazing, very lovely and helpful! We’d love to stay at the cabin again in the future, great base for Costa Rican adventures 😊

We absolutely loved our time here!! After months of travelling we felt like we needed a bit of luxury and that’s exactly what we got. The listing is exactly as described and Miroslaw could not have been more helpful during our time there - allowing us flexibility with the check out time was the cherry on the cake on what was a fantastic few days. Highly recommend!
