Holiday rentals with a fireplace in West Cross

I cannot overstate how amazing this place is. I was looking for an escape into the woods and it was exactly what I wanted. The setting of the cottage is stunning, right on the river and surrounded by trees. It feels remote, even though it's only a short walk into the village. The welcome was really friendly, you can tell that the owners are very active in their community and have put together loads of local info. I particularly liked the map of the community forrest which made me feel confident enough to explore walks by myself. The cottage itself is beautifully kept, with everything that you need, and then some. I didn't want to leave.

Great location with lovely views. We stayed for our wedding and Lucy was very accommodating with deliveries etc dropping things off in the morning. Lucy's place was very clean and had all the amenities you could want. A great place!

Such a beautiful home from home, spotlessly clean and a perfect location, couldn't fault it. Janine provides so much, even a welcome pack with bread, butter, cheese and Welsh cakes which was such a nice touch. We would highly recommend this property.

We had a magical stay at the cottage. The cottage itself is very lovely, beautifully designed and the surrounding landscape is very very special. Dorian was a brilliant communicator and very friendly. A seamless experience! A real gem of a place, will definitely be going back!

We had a great stay at David’s place, it felt like home from home. Very spacious and bright house, massive kitchen with all the equipment you need and more, big bedrooms. Great location for exploring Gower peninsula. Thoroughly recommend!

Beautiful property withing easy reach to attractions. Has everything you need to feel like home. Offers quiet space (office), well equipped gym and listening to the concert on the home cinema is a must (the sound system will transfer you to the event). The garden is spacious and well kept. It'll be lovely if there was hot tub (jusf a cherry in the cake ☺️). There was an EV charger but we were charged so no need to use it. If you are cold - boost the heating only and the house will be warm really quickly, all the way to the top. Gemma was very friendly and responsive at answering questions we've had. Will recommend it.

Really really loved our stay here! Such a beautiful place, with stunning views! Place was equipped with everything and more, we felt so cosy as soon as we arrived. Lovely picnic bench where we spent most of our time enjoying the views and the friendly cat was an added bonus. Thank you so much for a gorgeous stay and would definitely come back!

This property was lovely exactly as the pictures. The garden was very practical, pretty and private.I loved the kitchen with the sofa and little table spent alot of time sat there or in the garden during the evenings. A lot of thought has gone into this property. The location was fantastic beach in walking distance from the house. it has a small number of shops everything you need. Quite alot of takeaway options.

Was a very restful couple days for our 60th wedding anniversary in a beautiful caravan in a beautiful peaceful spot would recommend 10 stars

Liz is a lovely host who had left milk, bread and Welsh cakes, a nice touch. Good shower and towels and very comfy beds. Central location in a popular town where parking is cheap; carpark has electric charging points. There is on road parking nearby and you do get a parking permit. However be considerate to the permanent residents. I loved the apartment and would definitely book again. Liz was very helpful and approachable, a lovely lady.

We booked this place late for an event we were going to, it was perfect location about half an hour walk across the promenade. Easy to find, free parking at the property. Beautiful location by the marine and beach. We will be booking again for longer stay to enjoy. Also the weather was incredible and we wish we had booked another night. Great stay and great host. We had the most wonderful stay in Caswell Bay, the views are epic and the flat is clean and very well equipped. The view is incredible. I grew up in the area and have always wanted to stay on this beach and it did not disappoint! We can't wait to rebook and we 100% recommend this lovely flat in a beautiful setting. The owners are responsive and helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay as a family of 4.

We loved our stay at The Aros. A wonderful apartment with everything you need. It’s a perfect location too. Wonderful view and surrounded by the shops and restaurants but it was still quiet in the evening. We walked everywhere and there was free parking a minute walk away. We had a gorgeous walk to the pier and The Lighthouse restaurant was just perfect. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay, 2 adults, 2 children under 10. Beautiful and spacious apartment. Minutes walk from the beach and cafe. 5 minutes drive from Mumbles, great location. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
