Playing at the waterfront, the playground, or at the tennis court. For young, old and the dog for everyone, there is plenty to do.

Our residence "Torenhoog" is located in an almost 500-year-old national monument within the old fortress of the medieval town of Zaltbommel. Our property is located right under the Tower of Zaltbommel, a striking and world-renowned church that attracts thousands of visitors every year. Experience a unique stay in a special place!

The cottage is a renovated barn in the back, overlooking the meadows in the beautiful area of Schoonrewoerd. The 1 bedroom cottage is fully equiped , Kitchen, Bathroom and a 2nd toilet. It is 60 sq/m big and can host up to 4 people. Ideally 2 adults & 2 children, but 4 adults is possible (for a few days) but it might be a bit crowdy. You can enjoy your own private garden near the water, you will have easy and private access to the cottage via the right side of our farmhouse.

In our farmhouse there is a cozy apartment with private entrance, underfloor heating and wood stove. In the well-equipped kitchen, you can have a nice breakfast. There is a luxurious bathroom with rain shower and soft towels and a spacious room with a lovely, adjustable bed, wood stove and a nice sofa to read on or watch TV on. The high windows offer stunning views of the garden with terrace. Ensuite is a second bedroom for 2 people. Optionally, a fifth bed can be added.

The appartment (non smoking) is on the ground floor of a historic building. The living room has large windows, original shutters, a coach and tv. The small kitchen has a dishwasher, small fridge with freezer. The bathroom has a shower. The room on the garden side has a dining table and desk. Standard 10% discount due to the closed dyke section. Very secluded romantic cottage on the dike, you can walk straight into the floodplains. Rest and privacy are paramount. The cottage is now accessible in an alternative way (by car, then 50 metres, behind the main house). It is usually even quieter by the closed road, but the view of the surroundings and landscape are temporarily a bit compromised.
