You will stay in a house in a listed half-timbered ensemble from 1774 in the immediate vicinity of Detmold, equipped with antiques, a cinema hall, and a gazebo with unobstructed views of the Teutoburg Forest. Enjoy your time out in our tasteful accommodation right next to the natural forest Franzhorner Forst. The apartment is family-friendly and fully equipped with everything you need for a nice break. When you step out of your own front door, you are practically already on the Nordpfad/in the forest. In the shared large garden plot there is a private terrace, a fire pit and the possibility to barbecue and plenty of space to relax.

My Mono Teuto

NEW: Right next to "Mono" is another house, "Nest in the Forest." You can also visit. Or both… “Mono” is a trailer that was converted decades ago. In the course of a complete renovation, it received a timber frame skeleton all around in 2020 (new roof, new insulation, etc.) and thus a first floor. Size: 3.20 by 13 meters. It is called "Mono" because its exterior, like every room inside, is mainly determined by one color.

Handmade tiny house for two people. Right on the lake, with a large terrace and sauna. The house was built with ecological materials and lovingly furnished with solid wood furniture. It has a double bed 220 x 160, a couch, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and dry separation toilet. The house is easily accessible by train. Hämelerwald train station is only a 15-minute walk away.

I am furnished so that you can find relaxation and well-being. Through my large window front you can look into the countryside... onto a large meadow, trees and bushes. I've been around for 50 years… even though tiny houses are all the rage right now, I've been around a long time… but I've recently been renovated and look forward to welcoming interesting guests!
