Rade has its own highway exit and access, making the highway exit easy to find even for those unfamiliar with the area. Hamburg can be reached by car in about 30 minutes, the Elbe and Hamburg-Harburg in about 15 minutes. The Lüneburg Heath is right outside the door. There is a small glider airfield in the village. It is possible to arrive by train - the best way is by car or bike.

Large windows ensure a light-flooded room that, thanks to opaque and light-tight curtains, but also for late risers, has all the advantages.

The surrounding area is ideal for lovely walks and hikes. There is also a small sauna on the property.
