In the warm season, the Wilde Werk – a creative meeting place with a kitchen, studio and plenty of space to linger – invites you to enjoy, work or be creative. Whether you want to slow down or go hiking in the nearby Geo-Naturpark, both are possible here.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

The red construction trailer on the outskirts of the village offers comfort for your time out. Time to unwind and enjoy the simple life in nature. Beautiful hiking trails invite you to explore. Hills, lakes or forests - you choose. The construction trailer has everything for a relaxed atmosphere: washbasin, stove, refrigerator. You can relax in the double bed 1.40 cm or on the cozy sofa. In winter you shower in our separate apartment. The wood-burning stove keeps you warm.

Half-timbered idyll surrounded by nature

Our family-friendly apartment is idyllically located on the Werraufer of the small village of Kleinvach, near the city of Bad Sooden-Allendorf in the middle of Germany. The cozy apartment on the ground floor of our half-timbered house can accommodate 2-5 people and serves as a perfect starting point to discover the beautiful nature of the region and to slow down the body. Special comfort of the apartment is a fireplace and the sunny terrace on the Werraufer.

The annex was completely expanded in 2019. It has become a real gem and we are pleased to offer this modern guest apartment in a prime location. In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.

Our estate with our animals – sheep, goats, walking ducks, chickens, cats and our dog Elli – is only 5 km from the A7/Malsfeld exit, and yet it is in an absolutely secluded location in the middle of a nature reserve. You can use and explore our 20,000 m² property. Not far from our farm, you will find a unique vantage point. Here with us, the hare and the fox say good night. There is also a trampoline/slide/sandpit/table tennis table...

Visit the beautiful half-timbered town of Wanfried in northern Hesse. Wanfried is located in the Werra-Meissner district and borders Thuringia. Here you can hike, walk, cycle, swim, canoe on the Werra or sit comfortably in a nearby beer garden. Our apartment is completely refurbished, equipped with a new kitchen and a new bathroom. Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram.
