Through the large upstairs windows you can look at the neighboring golf course - or enjoy the untouched nature. Wellness Retreat at the Wiehen Hills Enjoy a stylish getaway in our lovingly furnished apartment at the Wiehen Hills, just a few minutes from the beautiful moor. The wellness area with sauna and cold plunge pool can be booked optionally. A separate entrance, parking space and private terrace provide peace, privacy and comfort. A large box spring bed (200 × 220 cm), a corner sofa with sleeping function (2 × 90 × 200 cm), massage chair and 75” TV with streaming services offer additional comfort.

Das Hauptschlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und TV, Küche und Duschbad ist auch einzeln buchbar. Bitte beachten, dass das zweite Schlafzimmer nur durch das Hauptschlafzimmer zu erreichen ist. Dieses ist dann also ein DURCHGANGSZIMMER! Unsere Unterkunft liegt im Dorf. Ländlich und (meistens) ruhig. Die direkte Umgebung bietet sich für Fahrradtouren und Spaziergänge im Wald an. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Basics wie Lebensmittel gibt es in ~ 4 km Entfernung. Zur Kreisstadt Diepholz sind es ~ 10 km.

Historic Cottage for nature lovers

Unser kleines Backhaus stammt ursprünglich aus dem 17. Jahrhundert und gehörte zu einem großen Niedersachsenhof, der leider nicht mehr existiert. Jutta hat das Haus vor gut 20 Jahren erworben und es mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail zu einer kleinen Oase gemacht. Gelegen im 1000 Seelen Dorf mit Dorfladen, Bank und Tankstelle kann man Ruhe und Entspannung unter den riesigen Eichen finden. Ausgebaute Radwege laden zu Fahradfahren ein. Die ländliche Umgebung bietet jede Menge Natur.

Im Umkreis von 10-15 km findet ihr alles was das Herz begehrt, von Ausflugszielen wie dem Dümmer See, dem Tierpark Ströhen mir seinem Araber Gestüt, Moorwelten, Marissa Park, Hallenbäder, Freibäder, diverse Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vom Bäcker, Fleischer, Discounter, Drogerie bis hin zu Apotheken.

Living in the (tiny) house - idyll in Crane Land!

Relaxed, quiet atmosphere for stargazers! Idyllic garden house on former farm in a very quiet location. Ideal for cyclists and country lovers, far away from cities and villages. In good weather, stargazers can admire the Milky Way, as the view is so clear at night. During the day you can just sit down and listen to the birds and in the evening enjoy the chirping of the crickets with wine. Starting in October, the cranes move into the country.

Pappelheim

In the north of the Dümmer Nature Park, between the Diepholz bog lowlands and Rehden Geestmoor, where the cranes winter, lies this small half-timbered house in a very quiet rural location. There is a kitchen, 1 living room, 2 bathrooms, 1 bedroom and the attic studio available on approx. 70 m² of living space. Terrace, garden and parking at the house are included. Smokers and urinators must stay outside. Dogs are allowed in, but not in bed.

Kick back and relax in this newly renovated stylish space. A renovated 59 m² apartment with separate entrance is available. Here you are undisturbed with your own kitchen, living room (sofa bed), bathroom and bedroom (double bed). Nearby are wonderfully quiet walking and cycling paths, many tourist attractions such as Lake Dümmer, EFMK (European Center for Moor and Climate) as well as the Kirchdorf Heath and the Ströher Zoo.

Ihr könnt bei schönem Wetter draußen auf der Terrasse frühstücken oder ihr macht es euch auf einer der Liegen gemütlich. Wunderschöne ausgewiesene Rad- und Wanderwege laden zum Erholen ein. Circus wagon on the alpaca pasture - pure relaxation!

At Alpakahof Strange, we live with many animals on an old farmstead from 1848. The Lower Saxony hall house is still in its original condition in some parts and exudes the charm of a long-gone rural tradition. In the pasture behind the farmhouse stands the spacious circus wagon. The wagon shares the pasture with our llamas and alpacas, who graze and rest there during the day. Pure relaxation!
