Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wayne County

Love the chickens and little tiny goats next door . I’m a walker so I walked across the street to see horses .. donkeys .. corn fields .. soy beans … wild flowers .. barns and silos which was recommended by the host. She also recommended the MCC thrift .. probably the most organized .. nice .. clean facility with friendly staff I’ve been in . Beds were comfortable . Plenty of linen .. plenty of parking .. and her son tried to help me with the keyless entry bless his heart when I had turned the lever the wrong way . A word of advice .. look out for the Amish in their horse drawn carts and the Mennonite on E bikes .. blind spots all over.. please slow down and keep everyone safe . We enjoyed our stay for country fest . Everyone in town was super helpful and friendly . I highly recommend this accommodation and host .

Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable apartment. Would rent again.

We loved our stay at Shannon’s place. The Homestead was full of historic charm, while holding fabulous amenities for our traveling party of 8. Shannon was incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with. Orrville is a pleasant community, and it’s easy to walk to restaurants. Additionally, the Homestead was close to Akron and other close by communities and attractions. If we’re back in the area, we would not hesitate to stay at this home again.

Cozy, easy access to College of Wooster and downtown. Comfortable, nicely designed. We loved it for our college reunion. Highly recommend!

We immediately felt comfortable. They had everything we needed to feel right at home. Even had box fan's for each room. To our family that was a nice touch because we need them to sleep. Sometimes it's the little things that make your stay that much more comfortable. The house also came with clear instructions on how to leave the property as well as things to do near by and places to eat. 10 out of 10 for sure!

The home was spotless, organized and completely equipped with quality furnishings. Peaceful setting. We were only in town for three days, and our two night stay was accommodated. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Centrally located, and the picturesque drive to visit the establishments in Millersburg was our favorite.

My friends and I have made stopping at the Penthouse an annual kick-off to our summer on our way to Sandusky. Rob is incredibly kind and friendly and even happened to see us bringing in our luggage and offered to help carry them up. Wooster is such a charming little town with lots to do (cute shops, lots of great restaurants/coffeeshops, etc) and the space made us feel right at home, so much so that on our first visit we decided to come back over and over.

The power went off one evening and the host immediately came with backup lights. Super nice couple to work with!

This was the perfect place to stay for three friends attending an agriculture conference. The house was tidy and comfortable.

Cozy unit with a fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, and spacious living area. Location was perfect for walking to/from COW campus and just a short car ride to downtown/uptown. Hosts were super responsive and helpful. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived!

We had a great stay at the Boho Bungalow! Everything was as described and it was very easy when we arrived. It's a very nice place to stay and you will have everything you need while there. The only issue we had was the Keurig didn't work, and that wasn't a huge deal as I'm not a coffee drinker. My daughter just got a coffee elsewhere. If we're ever staying up north again, we will not hesitate to stay here again. Thank You.

Great place to stay while visiting the College of Wooster. It’s an older house with lots of interesting architectural features & nice updates to the kitchen and bathroom. It was an easy walk (or really quick drive) to campus. Everything was as described, and the host was very responsive.
