CF Ranch & Cattle Co. is a real working Texas Longhorn Ranch in central Ohio. Most of our cattle are gentle and generally quite friendly. The ranch is spread out over 270 acres located on top of gentle rolling ridge that runs north/south . We are 6 miles from grocery stores and lots of shopping. The ranch has views for miles and unbelievable sunsets! Cows and their calves munching on grass and huge trophy steers swaying their horns side to side as they follow the fence line. A great getaway!

Honeycomb Cottage, a quiet retreat

Honeycomb Cottage is nestled on a 38-acre farm that was established in 1919 by the Steiner family. The original part of the home was moved to the farm in 1947. The west side was added on in 1981. For the most part, family has lived in the house over the last 75 years. We have a quiet country setting in the middle of farmland. From the front porch, you can watch the Amish buggies traveling down the road or build a fire out back looking over the peaceful valley and catch a beautiful sunset.

Meg's Lucky Buckeye

We have revived the unique character of this old house, built in 1864. The floors aren't level - some of them creak - but the details are lovely, and generous light fills the rooms. In keeping with our other rentals -- we are pet friendly. Our daughter is a College of Wooster alum and that's what brought us to Ohio - she stayed. I named the house in memory of my mother, who never set foot in Ohio but always believed buckeyes are lucky. We feel lucky to have found it; hope you do too.
