No 1 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a renovated stable block that housed the pit ponies from the local colliery at the turn of the century. The property has 2 cottages No 1 & No 2. No 2 can be booked under a separate listing. Next to the bird reserve and also with a private valley walk it is an ideal location for walkers. Dogs are welcome. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, the Gower and the Brecon Beacons. Free range pork produce is available from the farm.

You can see Mumbles Lifeboat station to the right and Oystermouth Castle to the left. The suite includes a king size bed, corner sofa (it is also a sofa bed), table and chairs, a work desk, storage, shower room, 50" TV (with Netflix) and Wifi. You can walk to the Michelin Star Beach House restaurant and Oxwich Bay Hotel. It is 20 minute drive to The Mumbles with its boutique shopping, Pier and Castle. Our apartment is perfect for a relaxing getaway and activities such as SUP boarding,kayaking walking, running, swimming and take a Sauna at Ty Sauna on Oxwich beach after.

We are in a quiet yet convenient location for the beaches, coast path, Oystermouth Castle, shops, restaurants & bars in the village of Mumbles. There’s private parking directly outside the house and we are within a 10 min walk of Mumbles village in one direction and the beaches in the other direction
