This is an ideal romantic vacation spot for couples. It is located in a quiet, serene neighborhood and has a large deck to enjoy. There is usually snow in winter. This is a kid friendly property with a pack-n-play, booster seat, and a play kitchen area in the downstairs. There is a king bed located upstairs in the loft (winding staircase is steep) and a double bed located downstairs in a bedroom. Ideally located at the end of the street with access to Saxon Creek trail and acres of forest and miles of hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing from the front door. What we love about this home is the privacy; the feeling of being in the mountains and woods, with views of tall pines from inside, including from some of the bedrooms. Spread out between two open-concept living areas, soak in the hot tub, or find yourself in a competitive game of pool.

Our place is close to skiing at Kirkwood, Sierra, Heavenly (all within 30 minutes or less). A 15 minute drive (depending on traffice) will take you to Lake Tahoe for summer on the water. Trails, sledding, hiking, mountain biking or quiet relaxation in the woods; property backs up to National Forest. You’ll love our place because you'll feel comfortable and right at home! Our home has recently been remodeled. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids).
