LeanneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The location was perfect, we walked everywhere. A supermarket around the corner we didn’t go without. The hot springs a must, to experience,a 25 minute walk but we took a taxi. We walked to the break water on the beach, found the best view across the bay and fabulous coffee. Every person we interacted with where so pleasant, that make our holiday extra special. Thank you for providing your home for us traveler’s to stay. A home away from home. Thank you We have all fond memories of our stay at Honey Flower House In Warrnambool. Best wishes Leanne

Lawson’s on Lava - in the CBD

CraigRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Bree and Matthew deserve high praise for the way they maintain and present Lawson’s on Lava. Location is excellent. Parking space out the back great for unloading. Inside, the renovated bathroom and kitchen are spotless, brand new tapware and tiling. The heating and split system keep everything comfortable. The carpets were new and recently vacuumed, the beds were clean and well covered. But we loved the attention to detail. All the small stuff you need is there. And a small booking issue was taken care of quickly with no fuss. Bree was responsive and happy to help. A really great experience all around.

Tranquil Escape to the Country for one or two

SimoneRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Our stay at Kathleen’s was just what we needed. My husband and I were needing a quiet and relaxing weekend away and thats exactly what we had. Such peaceful and beautiful surroundings to wake up to. We had cookie the sheep come and greet us in the morning he is adorable. Not too far from town only a 20min drive with beautiful scenery. We went out for brekky and dinner and visited the beautiful hot springs. The air bnb itself is perfect, Kathleen thinks of everything from coffee to snacks to face masks to everything in between. Very easy to communicate with her. Would highly recommend staying here you won’t regret it.

All About Warrnambool

Standing at the entrance to Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, Warrnambool blends a mix of rugged coastline, nature reserves, beaches, and history. You can stroll or cycle along one of the many scenic trails in the area, including the Foreshore Promenade, which showcases the dramatic rocky coastline along the Southern Ocean. A heritage trail in the city centre takes you to historical buildings such as the old courthouse, post office, and the T&G building with its gleaming white tower. Warrnambool has a modern feel, with its abundance of colourful murals and sculptures — the biggest cluster of which is found where Timor Street meets Liebig Street.

The city is also home to a lush botanic garden, which boasts a wide variety of plants and a lily pond, and Lake Pertobe Adventure Park is a peaceful spot for a picnic before taking a paddle boat onto the water. Lady Bay is the place to go for a dip in the sea or to try different water sports by the breakwater, while surfers favor the swells in Logan Bay.

The best time to stay in a holiday rental in Warrnambool

Warrnambool attracts the highest number of visitors during the summer months, when temperatures reach pleasant highs. This is the time of year when people come to make the most of the sandy beaches and the excellent local surfing. In winter, the weather is cooler and rainier, making it a nice time to discover the walking trails, and nearby nature reserves, including the Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve, and natural wonders such as the Hopkins Falls. Between June and September, many head to the Logan Beach Whale Watching Platform in the city, as this is the best time to see the whales as they pass this area. Major events during the year include the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic in January and the Warrnambool Show in October, an agricultural event that has been running since 1854.
