The "chicken house"

The chicken house is located in the middle of the beautiful permagar, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhupten. Gabi and Guido live here their dream of independence and want to expand the farm in a sustainable and tedious way. For example, the walls and ceiling of the chicken house have been made from the more than 200-year-old floorboards of the main house. Beautiful apartment in Wangen/Allgäu center close to the center

In the heart of Allgäu, near Lake Constance, I offer an apartment on the 1st floor on the left with 2 bedrooms, a dining area and a kitchenette. 2 steps across the corridor is the bathroom. The mentioned areas are for guests only. The entrance to the house is not separate. We live downstairs in the house and on the 1st upper right. So there is usually someone on site and we will be happy to help if you have any questions. The house is located on the outskirts of the city in a secluded location. Walk about 1 km into the city center and about 200m into the forest.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

In addition to a cozy bedroom, there is a living and dining room with a 2-person sofa bed, a reading corner, a modern bathroom, and a kitchen. A lovely, country-style apartment with many historical elements in a refurbished farmhouse. We spent four years, till 2017, lovingly restoring our home and the adjacent apartment, using only the best ecological materials. (eg. wood-fiber insulation, as well as clay plaster on all the inside walls.) Idyllic Appenzell Vacation Home with Garden

Our Hüsli is surrounded by nature, quiet and on the Alpstein hiking trail In the garden, there is a cozy sitting lounge, a large fire pit and the garden shower for cooling off. The magnificent views and the alpine feeling can be enjoyed particularly well from the bench on the front courtyard. Inside it is nice and cozy, with tiled stove and wood stove, cozy living room and spacious dining table. Everything is fully furnished and ready for guests :)
