Apple Cottage is in a lovely peaceful part of Maldon, felt very much enjoying the country life but a short drive to town. We loved how cosy and calm the cottage decor and the beautiful short strolls around the streets into the town. Having access to a stove and oven was also awesome to heat the home cooked food we bought, definitely a place could relax and stay a few days! Enjoyed visiting the honey factory gift store just around the corner too!

Delightful cottage full of character and Maldon is a perfect base from which to explore the goldfields. Brett very quick to get a new gas bottle sorted when it ran out!

Such warm, generous hosts. Maggie had baked us a beautiful loaf of gluten free bread and provided other goodies for our stay. The cottage is small but had everything we needed for a peaceful stay in the bush. It's only a 10 minute drive into Castlemaine and worth it for the peace & seclusion. If you like quaint cottages, gracious hosts and being close to nature, this is a great place to stay.
