Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wales

What an amazing place! This is something special. It is a beautiful thought out structure with spectacular furnishings and such a well designed space. Underfloor heating! That is a first for me and my partner and I loved it. The hosts kept the rustic look alive in how they designed it and even had a thatched roof!. Outside the cottage is a world of summer flowers, carefully attended by the older lady who lived in the adjoining cottage. Of course the hot tub and sauna were a great addition. I loved that they did not spare expense with the furnishings from the well designed dish drip tray to the fancy fan in the bedroom. We wish we could have spent more time here as after a few days travelling we spent one of our days lounging in the hot tub with a glass of champagne whilst listening to the constant bird chorus and watching the horses saunter around in adjoining fields. Really is a magical space. We loved it. Thanks Paul

A lovely place to stay for the weekend. Beautiful caravan, with all the amenities. Incredible view of the sea to wake up to, wish we could have stayed longer! Julie was very responsive to messages and allowed us to have a later check out time. Thanks for enabling us to have an incredible weekend!

From start to finish our stay was perfect. Relaxing setting for the adults and plenty to do around the area for the children. Our children loved the cows daily visit. The house was spotless with everything you could need. Check in and check out were stress free. Gwen and her husband are friendly and left us to it. Highly recommend for your visit to Wales! Nicole was such a fabulous host, it’s clear she has set out to ensure everyone has a fantastic stay. Communication was quick and had recommendations for food locally. I loved the little luxury details - beautiful fluffy towels, gorgeous cookies, a good fan, shampoos, conditioner, dog treats and towels etc. A very lovely stay, walking distance to the town where we met very friendly locals. Would definitely stay again 🥰

This is a great apartment for our stay in the area! Homey place to relax after a long hike. The house is located in a quiet street above the old harbour and the view from the living room is unbeatable. Gary was welcoming and helpful with recommendations and giving a lift. The rooms are spacious, the radiators can be adjusted to your own liking. You'll find helpful maps, leaflets and books about the area. Be aware that the house is rather poorly soundproofed. Would definitely recommend.

A beautiful rustic retreat! I was blessed with beautiful warm spring weather matched only by the warmth and kindness of the hosts. The fridge was stocked with delicious local foods along with fresh eggs and homemade bread. Literally everything I needed and so much more. Christine and Mike are wonderful hosts, available but not intrusive. Pembrokeshire is truly a gem, beautiful trails and access to the Welsh Coastal Path, combined with picturesque harbors towering cliffs and rolling hills.

Great place to stay right on the beautiful coast. Perfectly located for a golf trip with friends. The accommodation was as described and very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast hamper was ideal and set us up for the day ahead.

We spent two wonderful nights at this stunning location, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit! The views are amazing and as a bonus, we spotted a couple of seals swimming in the sea most days, which was the perfect way to wrap up our weekend. The apartment was not only clean and tidy but also stylish and easily accessible. We can't wait to return in the new year!

The view of the Menai Strait from the large glass windows is stunning. It is even better in person than any photo can capture. The apartment was clean and well presented and has everything you need, including a handy dishwasher. The location is perfect for exploring Anglesey, North Wales and Snowdonia. Finally, the hosts are incredibly helpful and respond promptly to messages.

Our second stay at The Loft and it was just as good as the first. Beautiful location and Heidi is a super host.

Phoebe and James' apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean, with a fantastic view over the bay. Would love to return there in the future.

Sheila was a very helpful and welcoming. We felt right at home and comfortable. The weather was a little chilly so the heating was put on to make our stay cosy and comfortable. The views and the Alpacas outside of our window were a joy to see. Sheila is a great host, very kind and caring with nothing too much trouble.

We ve had a wonderful stay; the place is very spacious, clean and cozy and it has everything you need to cook as well. The views are beautiful and surrounded by lots of different animals (including friendly llamas!). We ve had a fantastic and quiet weekend hiking/cycling around, can't wait to go back!Thanks Vanessa for everything. Luis

Perfect location for those exploring Barry Island. Host were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Communication was fantastic. Room was exactly what we needed. Clean and tidy. Bed and bedding was comfortable. Garden was lovely for a coffee if a morning. We especially liked the free and included doggy cuddles. ❤️ The only downside was having to leave. Beautiful accommodation- I felt right at home, it was really cosy, clean and modern. My daughters loved the kids bedroom, had a very comfortable sleep, wishing we stayed for longer. Great location, quiet area and I felt safe and definitely would book again if I come back to this area. Thank you for the warm welcome.

Susan & Peter could not have been more welcoming. Always checking that we had everything we might require and that we were enjoying our stay. Generous amounts of breakfast food provided plus gratis treats and snacks were provided. The apartment had everything...absolutely everything one might need. From sky tv to kitchen utensils of all kinds. From hair dryer to dishwasher. Linen to library. "Perfik."

Chris and Julie were very welcoming, helpful, kind and responsive during our time at their beautiful property. The property is an amazing place, very private and set back off the road right by a fresh water creek, nestled in the hills and surrounded by nature. There is a conscious eco-lodge feel to the place and much has been done to give the place a natural and peaceful feel, including natural bedding and products in a space that has everything you need with a fully equipped kitchen. The location is great too, with the town of Betws-y-Coed only about 15 minutes away and various Snowdon summit tracks not too far beyond that. A big thank you to Chris & Julie - I highly recommend staying at this beautiful property.

Such a great accommodation for spending a few days in the area. The apartment is clean, modern, perfectly equipped, comfortable, quiet and private. Easy access to the Brecon Beacons, as well as Swansea. Lucy and David are the ideal hosts: thoughtful, responsive, friendly and accommodating. It was my second stay at the apartment, I'll definitely be staying again.

An outstanding property with incredible views. Ros could not have been more helpful - answering enquiries and going so far as to call on our departure. Tenby was looking at its best - such a beautiful town. The views over North Beach to the harbour. Absolutely worth every penny.

We had a wonderful stay here. The place was lovely, very private and had everything we needed. There were 2 adults and 2 children in our booking and there was plenty of space for us. The hot tub was lovely with great views. The hosts were very welcoming upon arrival and were great at communicating before and during our visit. We will definitely look at staying here again in the future.

Fabulous! We had a great experience at Driftwood. It was very clean and beautiful. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly kind and let us checkin early and check out later, which made a huge difference to us. Every detail had been thought out which made it special. Highly recommended and we would love to come back again.
