Hut holiday rentals in Wales

Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

Fabulous place very quaint had everything you needed. The scenery was amazing with beaches within reach to die for ! Can’t wait to come again x

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

We loved every minute of our stay. Just big enough for 2 adults and our dog. We loved being outside in the private garden, watching the sea with a glass of wine. The dog loved it too, it was very safe and secure. 45mins flat walk, into the town of Barmouth, via the useful instructions left by Hayley. We ate at Dylans (15mins walk, turn right on the main road) and Bay View (6mins walk turn left on the main road) would recommend both, we didn't book and got a table but I would think you'd need to book during high season. Fantastic stay and we will definitely book to come back.

A great couple of days relaxing away from it all. Beautiful location. We have 3 dogs who loved the freedom to roam about. Brilliant

Thank you for a wonderful stay. So calm and peaceful and just what we needed to relax! We bought our dog who loved roaming around the enclosed garden. Beautiful well equipped cabin and hot tub.

We had a lovely stay at Julie's place. It was an ideal weekend getaway. The hot tub was great, perfect for two and was ready to go when we arrived. It's a really cute small hut, has everything you need. Bed was really comfy as were the pillows. We had a really good evening meal at The Sun Inn. Plus great food at Bubbleton. WiFi was a necessity, neither of us had signal at the place. It worked well streaming YouTube etc. There are multiple holiday properties there but it was completely private. I think there was a bit of a party at one of them but it didn't disturb us. Julie was super friendly and really good on local recommendations. If you're looking for somewhere in that area I'd say to stay at Julie's!

Amazing place, beutifull surroundings. Pod is comfortable, unique experience for us ,we loved it. Although we had constant rain and wind we managed to make camp fire which was lovely(bring your own logs). We would love to come back in better weather to fully enjoy the place. Thank you Sian!

A lovely place to go away for a weekend retreat to relax! Beautiful scene and views. We took our little dog and the enclosed area around the hut was great for him to run around in nice and secure - the gates do have a little gap under so just keep an eye if you have a small sneaky escapee dog!

This is a beautiful spot, I’ve totally fallen in love with the area. The cabin is really cute and comfortable. I love that the cabin is in its own enclosed paddock which is great for the dog and there is a stream across the road so you can clean the dogs off or cool them down. It’s probably worth mentioning that the farmhouse next door is currently being renovated so there are builders at work 8am - 5pm, but they are very polite and respectful and they tried to keep the noise down and did warn me if they were going to be noisy, but I was out most of the day as as they were gone by 5pm it wasn’t a problem. The owners are very responsive and are very nice. It was a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay here for 3 nights and used it as a base to do lots of hiking in Snowdon national park. It was as described and was super clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The hot tub views were beautiful and made for such a wonderful get away. The only thing we would say, and it doesn’t mark it down at all, but that the freezer ahas ice build up so it makes it hard to really fit anything in so this just needs to be removed. Other than that, we cannot fault anything! We will certainly be back again!

This little shepherd's hut was a wonderful getaway and perfect for our weekend in Angelsey. Mark was always responsive and the hut had everything we needed. It was warm, despite the blustery rain we had. We also felt as if it was very private, even though it's very close to the main house. As well as tea and coffee, there were also lots of decaf options (which was great for me, as I'm pregnant), and Mark and his wife were very friendly and helpful. It is a cosy space, so no good if you plan on having loads of luggage. Beautiful surroundings and a short drive to local shops, restaurants and lovely beaches. We would definitely stay here again. Had a great stay. The place is so peaceful and relaxing and in a great location for exploring the amazing Pembrokeshire coastline. The homemade pizzas are lovely and it was great relaxing in the hot tub in the evening next to the Al Pachas. The gym was a bonus. Clean, well laid out with everything you would need for a workout. Warren was a great host, offered a great walk through of the grounds and facilities and also advised on areas to explore. Would definitely stay again.

Had a wonderful stay. The location and hut are beautiful. Laura was very welcoming and the hut has everything you need. Plenty to do just a short drive away. I would advise anyone going in the warmer months, to take a fan, if you dont like sleeping with the window open. We will definitely return.

Beautiful place! Photos don’t do it justice. All me and partner spoke about is how it would be a dream to live here. Amber was so helpful and left us more than we needed to have a great time!

This was the perfect little hideaway. When you first see your view when you pull up the track, your jaw hits the floor, you can't help but stop the car, step out and gawk. A good selection of cooking supplies provided, a private little walk into a wooded area and all the sheep you can listen to! Only thing I feel slightly strained the experience, which is and was rather minor once accustomed to it, was the VERY short showers! Otherwise, this was a perfect experience. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a lovely stay at Y Cwt Cwtch. Such a charming and cosy little place and the area was so quiet and peaceful! The perfect hideaway. Ian was a very responsive and helpful host and the hut guide book was extremely useful with all the information we needed for our stay. The dining area/bed was very easy to convert, without the need to re-make the bed each time. The bed was very comfy too! Overall, we had the perfect stay - can’t fault it!

Absolutely loved my few days here, having adventures and unwinding with my dog. The shepherds hut is charming and comfortably spacious for one person and a dog. Everything I needed was thoughtfully provided, from towels to washing-up liquid (I even brought my own, but didn't need to!). The facilities and shower were all clean and working as expected. Cooking was a breeze, and it was great to find all the essential utensils like a paring knife, wooden spoon, and masher provided for preparing a variety of meals.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Judy’s Airbnb. From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The check-in process was smooth and communication with Judy was prompt and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area. We absolutely loved our few days in Maple. The setting is beautiful and so thoughtfully laid out. We would love to come back and would recommend as a great couples / friends getaway. Our dog had the best few days of her life so far and there’s loads to do in the area.
