Beach house holiday rentals in Walcheren

We had a great time in KS's house - everything as described, very spacious, plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. We particularly liked the existing children's toys, the well-equipped kitchen (Tupperware available) and the stair gates. The washing machine and dishwasher and the garage connected to the house were also very practical for us. The location is great, you can quickly walk to the sea (with a great children's playground in the dunes), the bakery and the supermarket. Check-in and check-out were flexible and uncomplicated and K was very friendly. Towels and bed linen can be booked separately as described. We can fully recommend the house and would be happy to come back.

Conny personally welcomed us on the day of arrival and showed us around. The lodge is exactly as described. Totally cozy and well equipped. From there we took beautiful hikes and explored the surroundings. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

Since we've been to the area many times, we definitely wanted to go back. The water and wind are good for windsurfers. For beginners, there is an easily accessible surf school where you can also borrow material. The furnishings have a vintage charm, are well maintained and of high quality. We had a great sleep, which speaks for the beds and peace. The view of the Verse Sea is beautiful, even if the house is not directly on the water. A renovation construction site nearby could not be heard, there was no disturbance! The bicycles can be parked well and safely on the property. From here, the North Sea and also the ferry to the small town of Veere are easy to reach, by bike or even on foot. Communication was good, questions were answered quickly before booking. The price is now in the usual range, i.e. within the limits. However, we have found a large price increase overall throughout the NL. We will be happy to come back.

We were completely satisfied with the stay. Check-in would have been possible much earlier, the accommodation was sparkling clean and lovingly prepared upon arrival. The hostess was always quickly available to us and very helpful. The house itself is freshly renovated and ultra-modern. The garden is large and the beach is within walking distance. The parking for four vehicles directly at the house is also great. We enjoyed the stay very much and can recommend Grete and the accommodation without reservation.

It was a very nice and relaxing stay. The apartment was clean and very nice and you had everything you needed at your disposal. The beach and the city are not a 5-minute walk away. We will be very happy to come back to the apartment and look forward to the next stay with you. ☀️

Friendly welcome by Esther, who lives nearby in the same town. A very nice, bright, clean and modern furnished house, with comfortable seating and comfortable beds as well as modern bathroom. The kitchen is very well equipped. The location is excellent behind the lookout dune for walks in the village and by the sea as well as bike rides. The parking spaces at the house are practical. We spent a very nice week over Christmas and can only recommend the house and place.

It was a wonderful stay. The house is small and cozy, with everything you need. The garden and the swimming pool are perfect if you're traveling with kids. We had a barbecue, relaxed in the sun on the hammocks, the kids played on the grass and had lots of fun in the pool. The house is just a five minute walk from the beach. It’s a really nice and quiet area, with plenty of things to do.

Fantastic location with kids. Close to beautiful places and great to hang out. The house was very well equipped… all you need to cook and the kids loved the toys!

Cottage was well taken care of, everything you need is present. The garden is really amazing, lots of places to sit and although you are in a park, completely private. The garden is completely enclosed which was very nice for the dog. The park has a natural swimming pool, a sauna, a restaurant and there is plenty to do in the area, from beach walks to visiting nice places. Monique is an attentive and easily accessible host.

Great experience

beautiful and clean house almost directly on the dunes (2 -3 min. by bike). There is everything you need. A special plus was the so well-stocked shed behind the house. Lots of bikes of different sizes, scooters, wagons, and sand toys that made my 12-year-old teenager back into a small child and built castles on the beach. 😁 Then of course the trampoline, which was also well used. It was a wonderful weekend and we will be very happy to come back. The tranquility has done us very well. Thank you to Ursula for the quick feedback and last minute break.

The house is beautiful, tasteful and functional. Everything you need is there. The fenced garden with pool is a paradise for adults, children and dogs. The location directly on the beautiful forest/nature reserve and thus the access to the beach is phenomenal! Very happy to come back!

The place is spotlessly clean and the hot tub was warm and clean. The house itself lovely and a nice little neighbourhood. We travelled by public transport which made everything a little difficult. It was quite far from a supermarket and the beach was a little further than expected. I think if we had a car it would have been better for us. Ouddorp is a very nice town We took advantage of the facilities at the RCN park nearby which had a splash pad and bike rentals.

We felt right at home in Carina's apartment. The kitchen is high-quality and fully equipped, so that nothing is left to be desired. There are also various games for all ages. We especially liked the immediate proximity to the beach, the garden and the playground in front of the door. If there were any questions, Carina always got back to us promptly and was able to help! We hope to come back sometime ... Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay with our children, the house was very child friend and the location was excellent

We were very satisfied in every respect. The cottage is very tastefully decorated, equipped with some useful electronic gadgets and also in the kitchen everything is available. The location is great and the garden is also great. I only give a small minus for the bed, as there is no double bed but two single beds pushed together.

We spent a few nice days in the cottage. You'll feel really comfortable there. Very nicely decorated.

Our 3 days stay went perfectly well, and Judith been very helpfull for us in our late arrival to the place. The Chalet is very cosy and is part of a camping, so you can benefit from the all infrastructure (bike rent, market, ..), and a very close access to the beach. The area is very calm and relaxing.

There were two of us in the accommodation with our dog. We felt very comfortable in this place. It is incredibly well located, surrounded by restaurants and only a few minutes from the beach. We really enjoyed the beautiful covered terrace with a view of the garden. It is a home away from home, rather than an anonymous hotel. There are many lovely things to discover in the room from the house's past. We found everything we needed, especially the kitchen is very well equipped and has six cooking hobs. We will be happy to come back!
