Our studio cottage is private, peaceful and very comfortable. It is less than 2 miles from downtown Walla Walla and the Whitman campus making for an quick drive or a flat, easy walk. It is in a tree filled neighborhood giving you a sense of almost being in the country. It is quiet and cozy which adds to it's charm and vacation appeal.
“What a great find Kyree's place was!! We were in town to find a home to buy, so it was the perfect place to stay...quiet, clean, well-stocked, comfortable, good location. Kyree and Mike were very friendly and helpful, a good introduction to the nice people of Walla Walla. We will definitely recommend this wonderful little place to others!”
Our cozy RV has sleeping room to accommodate 2 adults & 2 children with an additional sleeper sofa that a small child can fit on. We have fishing/swimming hole down a private trail to the Touchet river. We have kayaks and tubes for water fun. Plus, you will have access to bikes on which you can bike around the beautiful little town of Waitsburg. 🌻
“Where to begin?! Before you start reading my Review, just know that you’re in for quite the read in terms of detail. Personally, I like to read other Guests reviews to gain a better understanding of the ebb and flow prior to booking. Kris and the “K Fam” are nothing short of astounding (for lack of a better word choice). After an extremely long drive and a later arrival than anticipated, they welcomed me with open arms and smiles to match (even a warm, DELICIOUS, home baked loaf of goodness). This all goes along with their: Property, River Access (so close, yet Private and Peaceful), Orchard (which is coming along quite well), Hospitality, and of course, the RV! Not only was the RV incredibly comfortable, but extremely well-maintained and clean as can be. All you could possibly want in your own little home: (A/C), Comfy Beds, Hot Shower, Workspace, Kitchenette, TV, etc. You’d think it is Brand New. With that being said, clean-up after yourself and respect how fortunate you are to be where you’re at. This family is so hospitable, that the aforementioned should go without saying. There are: horses, chickens, etc. In terms of livestock and some really cool dogs. This is a family farm and it’s AWESOME. If you’re looking for the Hilton/whatever, well, I’m sure you can find any of those Corporate/Smug joints to go with the swipe of your Premier Club AMEX Card. This is a gem, an exception to the rule, a bonifide rarity, for those who choose to live it up properly and make memories. Do take in mind that Kris & Ko. are a very busy, productive and large (yet very well-rounded/positive) family. On top of it all though, Kris was STILL (somehow) responsive and timely and friendly in all forms of communication. The chemicals for the Loo to be used were a bit harsh for me (which doesn’t mean they weren’t proper), but the reason I mention it is because Kris even went out of her way to have Organic Treatment expedited/delivered (without request). This is a small detail, but goes to show how thoughtful she is. Kris even had the fireplace going for me (which was also not by request) upon arriving “home” from the River. Random comments, but still applicable I do believe. I can’t begin to explain how happy you’ll be here. No complaints allowed. Get on it while you can though, this is a home run ;) Though this is quite the lengthy Review, if the “Average Joe” had the attention span, I’ll be the Frank to applaud you for reading thus far. Furthermore, being that I’m not too savvy with a 5th wheel, Kris and Kavin (co-host) were so polite in every form to simply explain how everything works out. Now you may be thinking, is this dude just writing such a long jag to boost a rating? Nope. I just couldn’t be more grateful for such a pleasant stay with such a delightful family. To the readers who even paid halfway attn. to my Review, it should go without saying that this is a 5+ Star Review and you should have zero hesitance booking here. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for everything, Kris. - Elias”
Newly built barn with cozy "tack room". Room for you and your horse. Living area separate from bathroom and shower. You can peek in and talk to your horse while in the powder room. Noble panel stalls (3 stalls). Enjoy the country but still only 3 miles from downtown Walla Walla. Enjoy the wineries close by. Feed the horses and the chicken's if you'd like. Views of the Blue Mountains can't be beat from your king size bed. We would love to welcome you or relax in private.
“Colleen’s place is a must the next time you are in Walla Walla. Very clean and excellent location just out of town. Suggestions on wineries and places to eat were very helpful! Colleen and her husband were also gracious in letting us feed the horses and goats. So much fun! The turkeys and chickens were also very entertaining. Next time we are in Walla Walla this is where we will stay!”
