Private one bedroom apt. overlooking the Snake River. Semi rural area just across the river from Lewiston, Id. There are no steps and we have ample off street parking. Just 10 minutes from the Lewiston airport. The apt. features a small living room with a double recliner, small dining table with 2 chairs, a kitchenette with fridge, sink and microwave. There is no stove/oven but we do have a dbl hot plate, toaster oven and lots of kitchen cooking gadgets. Bedroom with Queen bed, bath w/shower.

Welcome to "Calico's Chicken House!" We are so happy you found our historic farm which my parents purchased in 1947. Located just down the road from where my great grandparents purchased the original farm which is still in the family today. We named the former chicken house after our favorite farm cat, Calico. She resided there for 17 years and found great comfort. We know you will too. Recently remodeled to accommodate your every creature comfort need. Our house is family and pet friendly.

The Grand Ronde River is a 20 minute drive from the cabin that offers great fishing, swimming, and rafting. Also cross country skiing, hiking trails at Field Springs State Park. Mushroom hunting and huckleberry picking are close by. The Anatone Cafe and Boggans Oasis (20 mi. South) are local eateries with good food. Hours vary. Relaxation and the great outdoors are calling.

NOTE: this is a basement walk-out apartment underneath our family’s living space. While we have gone to extensive lengths to eliminate sound transfer, you may still hear occasional footsteps above (especially 7-9 am and 5-7 pm).
