We are situated about a 10 min drive to beginning of northern end of Abel Tasman Nat Park. Continental Breakfast which includes cereals, fresh fruit,bread,milk and spreads. We have two rooms available, both of which you will have to yourselves on booking. 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and the other in the main area has a King size bed. Also separate laundry/toilet/shower area. Private entry and completely private to our upstairs dwelling. We are also a very quiet household so keep that in mind

Welcome to our garden property just 100m from the main Takaka shops. The studio is large and cosy with its own bathroom. You will enjoy privacy with your own deck but we are always around for a chat and love meeting new people. There are no cooking facilities (but we do have a fridge, kettle, toaster etc so you can enjoy your morning coffee and muesli etc). You are just two minutes stroll away from some truly great cafes and restaurants - The Wholemeal Cafe is our favourite, open 7 days.

Romantic Getaway. The Caboose is a handcrafted replica of a train carriage, with a small private garden. Set on a half acre property next to our historic farmhouse, centrally located at the outskirts of Motupipi, at the eastern side of Golden Bay, only 5 minutes drive from the beach and 5 minutes from Takaka township. The 'Flax Pod' cabin in Pohara, amazing sea views

Our unique Flax Pod cabin is a repurposed shipping container with epic views of Golden Bay. It suits a relaxed couple, has a comfy queen bed, sofa and kitchenette. Large bi-folding doors open onto a deck where you can totally relax, enjoy a cold beer, sink into a quirky hot tub and soak up the sea views. Its in a great location and a great base to explore Golden Bay from. Enjoy getting back to the basics, dozing in a hammock, a friendly weka or two and a spectacular night sky.

Tata Beach Cottage

The cottage is located down the 'quiet' end of the beach on a private section. The back of the property runs down to a safe tidal estuary that's very popular with children to play around in canoes and small boats. There is a 50m walking track to the main beach just across the road and there is a boat ramp further down the beach. This cottage is ideal for a family or small group wanting a holiday at one of NZ's most beautiful beaches, or as a base to explore the greater bay area.

Engage in the beach, the river, the walks or simply relax - it's easy to do here! - and enjoy the lush views from Farewell Spit to Separation Point. Whilst stargazing you can catch both the Pillar Point and Farewell Spit lighthouses.
