Holiday rentals with beach access in Wailea, Wailea-Makena

A++++++ owners, place was great for what we needed. Sleeps 2-3 comfy, might be able to squeeze in a 4th. Full mini kitchen, patio, pool/spa/BBQ’s, tennis courts. 1/4 mile walking distance to beach. Cute wildlife w/ birds & chicken all over property. Everyone was friendly. 5-10min from downtown Kihei shopping & grocery stores.

We were visiting Maui with a 7 month old baby and had a lovely time staying at the apartment. The hosts kindly offered a booster seat and a pack n play for us, and had everything one might need for an awesome day at the beach - chairs, towels, toys. The place was clean and well equipped for cooking which we did often. The beach was right across the street, and it's beautiful. Overall we had a great time staying here, and would come again.

Great clean place with a very nice view of the ocean from the bed. The place was in a great location with tons to do all around. The door code was super nice because we didn’t need to worry about losing a key or anything. The room comes with everything you need and even more. Was very pleased and had a wonderful time in Maui :)

We came here for our 20th anniversary. The views and beach are unparalleled. It is a more private setting and not walkable to downtown Kihei. This was perfect for us because we just wanted a chill place to be. It is still very accessible to the entire island and Kihei is really easy to get to. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back to Maui!

Both beds were extremely comfortable. The location couldn’t have been more perfect just steps away from Kam II beach and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Everything was perfect for our short 2 night stay and we would definitely stay here again!

I was impressed with the outside view - the view matched description perfectly. The host is very responsive. We could get the A/C to work in the living room since as there are special instructions to follow but the host took the time to respond back to us at late hour and immediately scheduled a maintenance crew to inspect the very next day. There aren’t many food options walking distance (more or less 30min), but we had a car so everything worked out great! Otherwise no problems at checking in or finding the place. Highly recommend!

Being really sick in Maui is no fun. Being directly across from a beautiful beach was the saving grace! The home was very inviting and well-appointed. The extras, such as beach chairs, was very helpful. Having an in-place washer and dryer was very nice. While we didn't see much of Maui (thankfully, this wasnt our first trip), having a comfortable to rest was very welcomed. Great hosts; highly recommend a stay here.

It was a great home. It was in a central location to get to all the places we wanted to visit. We loved to just walk around the area, great food, great shopping nearby!!

This home is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. Kitchen tools, speaker to play music, beach gear and towels, it's all there. The house has a beautiful garden and it's a quiet neighborhood. Cassie is very responsive and flexible. She gave us some great recommendations in the area. The location of the house is very convenient, centrally located on the island. Beds are comfortable and so is the living room. If we come back to Maui we will stay here again!

Scott was a helpful and very friendly host. He gave us a ton of tips and guides on what to do in Maui. His place is so close to the beach that it is highly recommended to walk to the beach early in the morning, around 6am, to get the most out of his location. His place was spotless and clean, with no issues. He has all the kitchen items you needed if you wanted to make a quick breakfast before heading out to the road to Hana, or to the national park! He is such a great host and I will be going back to him when I visit Maui again in the near future. As always, please start your mornings early! Around 6/7am the latest, because Maui is incredible during the early mornings. Scott has a ton of recommendations so he will help you with any advice that you need to really make the most out of your Maui trip. 5/5 stars for Scott and for Scott’s Airbnb. This home was as described and the view is out of this world. Every morning we would enjoy our coffee and every evening we would love watching the sunset from the lanai. As you can see from other reviews, this house gets 5 stars because the pros are endless. However - we want to go over a few cons because as a group we rented both sides of the townhouse ($$$$$) and there were some issues that we felt may have swayed our decision to stay there had we known. 1) The homeless in the area. There is public beach access next door to an empty lot - There is then a church that provides free daily meals right behind the home. Put all of this together and the area has become a hang out spot. We had authorities called twice (sleeping in the bushes right outside our room that had bars installed on the windows/blocking the driveway) but could have called them every day. 2) No AC (we knew this) but it gets HOT and if you have littles it will be a problem. 3) Rocky beach entry. Bring water shoes!

Excellent location, beautiful view, house was well stocked and the communication was terrific from both homeowner Steve alongside the property manager Walker. Speedy responses to any questions we had. Our family had a blast in Maui and would rent from Steve again. Steve also had great recommendations for local eating alongside a picturesque sunset spot. For our family of five, Steve's home was a winner.

We, a small family, recently stayed in Kaanapali Maui and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The unit was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with all the essentials — from kitchenware including a blender and all of the beach necessities. After going around the island and picking up some fresh fruit, it was a nice afternoon treat to be able to make our own smoothies! Highly recommend it. The view from the lanai (balcony) was absolutely stunning. Every morning we enjoyed our coffee while watching the sunrise over the ocean, and in the evenings we were treated to the most spectacular sunsets. The sound of the waves crashing was the perfect background to a truly relaxing vacation. The location was ideal just a short walk to the beach, shops, and great local restaurants. We loved being close to snorkeling spots and whale watching opportunities. The complex also had a pool, hot tub, and BBQ grill

Luan was a wonderful host, was available with any questions I had. The home was clean and felt cozy. A home away from home. The location was great and was walking distance from the gorgeous beach, shopping, and restaurants. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Loved our stay here! The condo was perfect for what we wanted. Our favorite part was that it was about a 30 second walk to the beach! We definitely used the snorkeling gear and towels as well. We loved walking to the beach in the evening to watch the sea turtles swim at sunset. Would highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Maui.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is fantastic, within walking distance to one beach and driving distance to many others. There were lots of good places to eat nearby. The space was clean, well-lit, and comfortable, and well-stocked with supplies and amenities. The hosts even provided towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and other beach toys (great for families). Jamaal and Victoria were so welcoming and responsive throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Everything was great and as described in listing and the other great reviews. Condo is great, very neat and as described in the listing. Views are amazing from the condo. Sea turtle spotting is very common. The bay is shallow on the low tide, and you might spot people snorkling. Barbara is a very helpful host. The only complain that I had were winds. For some reason it was always windy there during our stay while ’twas quieter on other places in the island. There is only one convenience shop where you can find good brunch and beer.

Beautiful, well located, pool is nice and within walking or short drive / UBER from many beaches, restaurants, and amenities. We were 7 adults and I think more than that might be a bit cramped but the beds and sofa beds were all comfortable and the views and terraces and lanai are stunning.

We really enjoyed the location of the condo. There were two bathrooms and even though there was only us two … I like a bath-tub and my husband enjoyed the shower … we each had our own space too. He’s an early riser so could get ready without waking me! We enjoyed the lani. We would go out each late afternoon and enjoy the sunsets. Had a great time eating at the large food truck area in Kihei! Love the pies from Maui Pie! Thanks for the great time.

I really enjoyed staying at Truman’s property. I came with a friend for another friend’s wedding and it was very close to things, especially snorkeling. Just about 10 min drive to really good snorkeling. If you do the molokini crater snorkel, there are boat options that pick you up in Kihei. The property was really clean and honestly had everything I could have possibly needed. They had a steamer, sunblock, aloe, snorkeling kits, etc. Only thing is I wish they had conditioner. A/C worked well and the kitchen and bathroom were so clean. Unfortunately, I had to leave early but they were great in terms of communication. If I ever come back to Maui, I’d definitely stay again!

Great place! Honestly words can’t explain to be here. I enjoyed every moment I had in Maui. Beach is so close by to visit daily!!!
