My partner and I had a wonderful weekend stay. The place was incredibly quiet and private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We really appreciated the lovely personal touches that made our holiday feel extra special. Everything was clearly prepared with care. Check-in and check-out were seamless, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely stay here again.

The Rimu Hut - Cosy Bush Escape

EdwardRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We visited during a bit of a rainstorm, and couldn't have felt more cosy, safe, and warm. Very comfortable and unique getaway. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get off the grid a little bit and live a more simple low-tech (but still comfy) getaway

Peaceful cottage in beautiful bush gully

MargaretRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had 2 nights in the Cottage. It was in a beautiful setting, private and quiet. It was roughly in between Cambridge and Hamilton on a high class road. Jane provided breakfast cereals, porridge and croissants and even gave us a jar of newly made jam and figs to take home. Comfy beds, great heat pump and lovely lookout from the balcony as well as a very friendly host. Thank you Jane.

Beautiful tiny house near Hamilton Lake

DavidRating, 5 starstoday
We selected this venue as we wanted to have a memorable little vacation away from home. We knew it would add to building memories since it is very unique and quaint. A good location with street parking and ease of walking from car to front door. It looked just like the photos and very easy to make ourselves at home once arrival. The manager was proactive and gave us a keypad combination that let us in to the home without having to coordinate a meet up time, which is a massive relief. We were uncertain when we would arrive, and that did not matter. One thing to be mindful of is how steep the stairs are. It didn’t cause any problems for us, but I could see how it might be difficult for some people with mobility issues. Overall, we highly recommend this property.

1-bedroom self contained rural escape

Amybeth Wilkinson (Married name)Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
Perfect place to rest after busy days at Fielddays. Would recommend if anyone wants a place in the country but still close enough to get to Mystery Creek and Cambridge. Wish we had more free daytime hours to really see what the place looked like but it was everything we needed, great little pantry and fridge stocked with breakfast and drinks and nice and warm with heatpump and instant hot water in the shower. Jane was lovely and so kind :) Thanks so much for allowing use the use of your place :) - perfect also for leaving our trailer somewhere safe with security around it

Cosy Cottage Kakaramea

KatRating, 5 starstoday
A really lovely place. Lots of beautiful small touches that make the space feel really nice, was spotlessly clean. Really well stocked, especially the kitchen. Beautiful country views. Hosts were super friendly, took our toddler for a walk around to feed the animals which he loved. Great location, rural and secluded but still close to town if you needed anything. Really appreciative that they allow dogs also. Cabin has a heat pump so stays a nice temperature.

Eco Oasis- Raglan

LiamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great time at Te Haa. The perfect breath of fresh air we needed to escape our busy lives. So glad we stayed a few days, we got to soak in the beach, the township and a day at the cabin just to enjoy the birdsong and sunshine in the native bush.

This is a quiet and peaceful location, with easy check-in and great communucation. The new diesel heater was fast and efficient, heating the room nicely. It was a charming pad with all the pottery made by Kimba. Be sure to take the opportunity to go up and have a look at her studio!

WhaleBay Hideaway

Cameron DavidRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Seamless experience staying at Tom’s hideaway at Whale Bay. Communication was excellent and even catered for a slightly earlier check in which was super handy. The accommodation was easy to access but also nice and secluded. The outdoor spa was a real treat as the sun went down too. The wifi and tv worked great and the cooking facilities were all that we needed to cook dinner and breaky when we decided to. Would recommend to anyone looking for a secluded get away for two! Added bonus that we were able to bring our dog away with us too. Thanks Tom!

Atarau Beach Retreat

ShannonRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We love staying at Susan's gorgeous unit. A peaceful oasis in a beautiful seaside town. Raglan is such a cool place to visit. There were many thoughtful touches to make our stay memorable, and we enjoyed every minute of it. The unit has a beautiful picture window with glimpses to the ocean, a comfortable bed with quality linen, and a heat pump to keep it cosy. There is a lovely walk down to a peaceful bay in the harbour and we even had a swim as it was so warm. While town is not quite walkable its a very short car trip, and it is worth staying just out of town to enjoy the setting that the accommodation provides.

Relax at Red Earth Gardens

IskandarRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Amazing stay! The place was very clean, furnishings seemed fairly new, and the cottage was cosy. View from the cottage deck was beautiful- in the early morning, mist shrouded the lower terrain and Waikato river before gradually fading away, with the sun rising behind. The night view was wonderful as well with lots of stars. We ordered a homemade pizza from the hosts and it was absolutely superb. They also spoiled us with a sublime chocolate cake and date pudding. Overall it felt like a lot of thought, effort and passion has gone into this bnb, more than almost all (and maybe even all) the bnbs we've stayed at before. We really recommend this place. And do yourself a favour and don't hesitate to order their food!

Garden Retreat

BrodieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Hi Marion, just wanted to say thank you again for letting us share your house - everything about the space was perfect for us, it was clean, super comfortable and a great way to end our stay in NZ. We especially loved the instruction sheet waiting for us on the table inside containing all the details we needed about the house, as well as recommendations for things to do in the local area. Very thoughtful and it made getting out and exploring a lot easier. We appreciate your hospitality and would definitely recommend your accomodation to anyone travelling to Hamilton in the future. All the best Rachael and Brodie
