Welcome to our private romantic getaway at Hereford Cottage. Located in Whakatiwai, north of Kaiaua with a backdrop of the Hunua ranges. We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Enjoy a night or a couple of nights here with us.

Tucked into our established back garden of fruit trees, you can enjoy a quiet private hideaway with easy entrance and off-street parking. Perfect for singles/couples wanting to explore our beautiful Cambridge, or a one night trip stop-off. We are a 20-25 min walk (5-10 min drive) to Cambridge township amenities incl walking paths, Lake Te Ko Utu Domain/shops, and wonderful cafes/restaurants. The velodrome and Te Awa River Ride are a short drive away. Cambridge is the jewel of the Waikato!

Kereru Ridge Cottage.

Rest in nature, at this rural unique and tranquil getaway. Relax in the outdoor bath, watching the night sky. Listen to the birdsong, laying in the hammocks surrounded by native bush. Tuis feeding, Kereru perched in Kowhai trees and lots of other native birds darting in and out of the bush. Situated 25mins from Hamilton. Only a 10min drive to the Hakiramata Summit Track and loop track. Te Awa River Trail starts 10mins away at The Point in Ngaruawahia. Raglan by the sea is only 56mins away.

The Studio at Woodfort Estate

Our new studio is perfectly placed for stunning views of our mountain and rolling hill landscapes. A weekend get away or longer retreat will be rewarded with privacy and peace to relax inside or on the spacious patio that captures amazing afternoon sunshine and sun sets! One main bedroom is detached from the living and kitchen, which has a fold out couch for extra guests or kids! Relax in the outdoor bath and enjoy the simplicity of living off grid without lacking to many home comforts.

Listen to bird song while enjoying the elevated rural vista of Mt Karioi and distant ranges. Just 10 mins from Raglan town and all it has to offer - harbour activities, world famous surf breaks, Mt Karioi, Waireinga (Bridal Veil) falls, boutique shopping, funky cafes and bars. A place to whakatà ( take breath, rest & relax)

Whare Tatou

*** currently building an extra room and an outdoor bath, estimated completion late June*** This will not affect your stay before that date :) Our private whare is a short drive/walk to Ngarunui Beach. Raglan Township will take you just under 10 minutes by car, or if you’re able, it’s a wonderful walk of around 35 minutes, either along the beach on low tide, or the new footpath that’s just opposite our drive. You will also find Cala Cafe! Our whare is ideal for couples :)

A piece of paradise right near the city! Green Valley Cabin overlooks a gully with nature right on your doorstep - trees, ferns and native birds are a feast for your eyes as you relax in your own private space. This is a self-contained unit with a toilet and shower. Please note no kitchen or cooking facilities, however, there is a fridge and microwave. It is clean and tidy with a great location near Waikato Hospital, Hamilton Lake, Hamilton Gardens and the city centre.

A peaceful self contained cabin, rural but close to Sh1 , Hampton downs raceway. meremere dirt track and drags. Freshly renovated, this little Cosy unit is in Te Kauwhata 2 minutes off the highway, approx 7mins to Hampton downs and 11 mins north end Huntly. ideal for racecar enthusiasts with excellent secure off Street parking for car / trailer. sleeps 2 comfortably with a queen bed. Has Wifi ,smart tv, microwave, mini oven , cook top. fridge/freezer
