Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Waikanae

An absolutely lovely little getaway. The house is beautiful, warm, modern and cosy and has everything you need. The garden is private and lots of options for sitting outside and taking in the great view! We could hear tui and the beach from the garden. Great location, 3 min walk to the beautiful Otaihanga domain and river walk down to the estuary and beach or up to waikanae. Great for the dogs! Really handy to paraparumu, pubs, cafes, and shops. Lucy was a dream host - super helpful and kind. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be back!

Comfy cosy cottage in a great location - easy to walk to the supermarket, Main Street, and the Greytown to Woodside Trail. Super easy check in and loved the lemon cake left for us on arrival. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be back!

Great place - very comfortable - lots of extra touches when we arrived - very welcoming to us and our dog. Lovely to walk into a lounge with the fire going on a cold evening.

Great comms from Martin. Lovely old place with lots of charm. Spacious. Beds were super comfort, with great pillows & nice linen. Perfect for us as a 9-10 minute walk to our sports event. Supermarket & local shops close by.

Stunning location, huge beautiful home with everything you could possibly need. The pictures don't do it justice, it's more spacious and lovely than we had anticipated. So much room for everyone to spread out and not be on top of each other - but also a very well laid out living space so that everyone can gather together in the living area. Great communication from our hosts and we enjoyed the extra touches like the hotel quality bedding in every room. SUPER comfortable beds, it's rare to sleep better away than at home, but lots of us did! Absoloutely reccomend. And you can't beat the stunning views!

Our stay was perfect. Nicola is such an amazing host, giving us extra recommendations for the time with our kids. The location of the house is perfect. Awesome views to the sea and just an easy stroll to the playground and the beautiful Queen Elizabeth park. The house itself got everything we need, we felt super comfortable all the time. Will come back :)

Our stay for the last weekend of the school holidays was PERFECT im glad we made the trip to Ōtaki for a family reunion we enjoyed our stay so much we hope to return again the fire made the place so cosy when you could sit around it with the beach in your view there was lots of space, games were a hit for the kids although we didnt spend most of our time soaking up the beautiful surroundings we had a great experiences, it didnt end there waking up and having the beautiful beach right there was an absolute bonus from sunset to sunrise was stunning!!!

Amazing Amazing and Amazing! To wake up to this view was out of this world! Then having the awesome access to the beach. Everything you require is at the house….may be a little more expensive than some of the other Kapiti properties. But it is worth every penny! Thanks Julie and Kelly (the very helpful site Manager)

This place was fantastic – clean, well presented, and fully equipped with everything you need for a great social gathering. It had a welcoming vibe and made our stay super easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Such a great place to stay, perfect for our group. Lots of space, both as a large group but also breakout areas. Outdoors is stunning, great to wander around in the sun and fresh air, very quiet and peaceful - our dogs love it!! Well equipped throughout, kitchen had all the staples and plenty of serving ware for group meals, bedrooms were all fabulously set out, plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed. Lots of games to have fun with, plus the pool and tennis court. We had a blast, thank you for having us!!

Nessa and Stefan were the besthosts! They made us feel welcome, comfortable as soon as we arrived. We actually took up an offer to stay in their beautiful home in Belmont as the Boulcott home was given to a couple who booked and needed to extend their stay. I highly recommend a stay with them or in their Boulcott property as they go out of their way to provide the perfect stay in immaculate and comfortable surroundings. Stefan’s coffee and home made honey and breakfast cereals were exceptional! A 10/10 stay with 10/10 hosts! Thank you for your hospitality and friendly conversations. All the best.

Thank you so much for a great stay. It was perfect in every way for us. Mum had her own room with ensuite and we were able to open the french doors into the back yard and soak in the beautiful weather.
