Our bright, open attic apartment offers a cozy place to stay in the heart of Soest. The city and the train station are within walking distance and a bus runs in front of the house every half hour. In addition to the numerous tourist attractions in Soest, the health resort of Bad Sassendorf with its thermal baths and the spa park can also be quickly reached from the property by bus or car. Parking is free of charge and a Lidl, Aldi, Edeka, Dm and organic market are within walking distance.

'Haus am Wald' is a newly renovated old farmhouse. Surrounded by forests and meadows it offers pure relaxation without any traffic noise. Wake up by the birds singing in the morning and watch the deer roaming through the forest. Shopping is available Lippborg (3 km) with supermarket, bakeries and several shops. Situated 4 km from autobahn A2 it is very easy to get here. The house offers 100 m² of living space with family room, 2 bedrooms, 1,5 bathrooms, dining room and a kitchen.

The city of Soest is 6 km away and can be reached by bus and train. The Möhnetalsperre can be explored by bike.

The beautiful Flora-Westfalica, with its state garden show grounds and the Emssee, can be reached on foot in three minutes. In December, the Wiedenbrück Christmas market begins again, attracting crowds of guests from afar with its unique atmosphere. The living area on the first floor has a sofa bed (for 2 people) and a bathroom. The apartment also has a small terrace.

In the course of a complete renovation, it received a timber frame skeleton all around in 2020 (new roof, new insulation, etc.) and thus a first floor. Size: 3.20 by 13 meters. It is called "Mono" because its exterior, like every room inside, is mainly determined by one color.
