The Black Swan houseboat is truly a special place to stay. Leonora and Erwin have thought of every detail, and the space makes you feel instantly at home. If you are looking for a special place to relax with friends or family, you need to consider a stay at the Black Swan. We would certainly return without hesitation.

We had a lovely time on Peter's houseboat. The location is great. Only a 15 minute walk to the station and the center yet incredibly peaceful. Everything we needed was available and we enjoyed the first rays of the spring sun on the dock in front of the houseboat. The daily visit from a group of geese was quite the highlight for our little boy. Peter welcomed us when we first arrived and was very accommodating and responsive to our questions. We explored the corners of Utrecht and beyond with the bike and can only recommend this lovely city. So many beautiful historic buildings, lovely canals and quaint little cafes and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

We loved our stay at the houseboat the place was exactly as described and Anouk was a pleasure to work with. Would definitely reccomend!

Had an amazing stay at Marie-Louise’s place! She’s super lovely and welcoming, and always quick to help if you have any questions. The houseboat is very nice, well-equipped, and has plenty of space to relax. One of the highlights was enjoying the beautiful sunset from the veranda of the houseboat. Definitely a unique and memorable experience! Would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and special stay.

The accommodation lived up to its promises. The location was beautiful, situated right by the canal. While it’s slightly outside the center of Amsterdam, it remains easily accessible. Karina was a perfect host—always responsive and helpful, providing great recommendations and a booklet with clear instructions. She even allowed us to leave our luggage there before check-in. We would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful time at Marco's houseboat. It had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. It was an easy walk into Arnhem, and there were many beautiful spots within walking distance. It was a great experience staying on a houseboat.

Dit is een bijzondere accomodatie. Slapen in een oud vrachtschip doe je niet alle dagen. Daarnaast is er een aparte ruimte waar je kan zitten en eten, met een keuken en een wc/badkamer. Prima uitgerust allemaal. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Omgeving is fantastisch. Wij kwamewn om te vissen en zijn zeer aan ons trekken gekomen. Kortom, wij hadden een geweldig verblijf.

Absolut geniales Hausboot. Super-schön eingerichtet - sehr modern - mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Es war blitzsauber und gemütlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und das Leben auf dem Hausboot sehr genossen (eine tolle Erfahrung). Zum Boot gehört ein SUP, das wir trotz der Jahreszeit ausprobiert haben. Im und um das Boot ist sehr ruhig und trotzdem ist man fast mittendrin - es sind nur wenige Meter in den eigentlichen Ort. Richtig klasse: der Supermarkt liegt direkt gegenüber. Anita und Diedert sind tolle und sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber, die wir zwar nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben aber die Kommunikation mit ihnen lief hervorragend. Wir würden gerne mal wiederkommen.

Vielen Dank für die schöne Unterkunft! Wir konnten uns wunderbar erholen und entspannen. Genau das was wir wollten. Am morgen und am Abend war es besonders schön die Kröten im Wangermeer zu hören. Das Hausboot ist ringsherum an den Fenstern mit Gliegengitter ausgestattet so sind Spinnen außerhalb des Hausboots geblieben. Wer jedoch Angst vor Spinnen hat, sollte wissen das die Spinnen sich draußen am Hausboot befinden. Was ganz normal ist, in der Natur. Die kleinen umerfliegenden Spatzen holen sie allerdings regelmäßig weg :-) Der Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer war jeden Morgen ein Genuss. Hier würden wir gerne wieder Urlaub machen. We were so lucky to be able to stay in such a beautiful place! The beds were comfy, the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful... it was a lovely escape from the busy, city-center. We LOVED the use of the kitchen and the deck just off the kitchen. Hein was so good to have bikes available for us. There is little available directly near the home but a 10 minute bike ride along the lovely road and over the bridge gets you to all you could want. We were sad to leave our Amsterdam home and will hope Hein's home is available when we return.

Es war ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt. Die Kinder waren von der Überraschung begeistert, dass wir als Unterkunft ein Hausboot haben. Dieses war ruhig gelegen, die Einrichtung liebevoll gestaltet. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und hatten viel Freude beim beobachten der Enten, Reiher und Schwäne direkt vom Frühstückstisch

We really enjoyed the opportunity to stay on a houseboat while in Amsterdam and Fern's home was comfortable and relaxing. It was also nice to see a less touristy side of the city - it's an easy tram ride from the city center. Pepper was quite charming and we were delighted with her presence and the patio was a little oasis. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a more authentic stay.

Wir hatten ein schönes verlängertes Wochenende auf dem Hausboot! Die Lage war traumhaft – ruhig, direkt am Wasser, mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Das Boot war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet, mit allem, was man braucht. Besonders gefallen hat uns die kleine Terrasse, perfekt zum Frühstücken oder den Abend ausklingen lassen. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die mal etwas anderes erleben und dabei entspannen möchten! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

We had an amazing stay at the boathouse. The hosts are responsive and caring, the manager was welcoming and informative. The house was exactly as described and Heeg is a beautiful town!

Our stay at Claire’s place was nothing short of magical. The location is hard to beat in the heart of Jordaan, steps away from great Dutch cafes, every restaurant we ate at was within a ten minute walk, every one was fantastic. As well as minutes walk from transit. Somehow though being in the middle of everything, being on the water in this houseboat makes you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. Claire has great taste, her home is designed impeccably, with one of the major highlights being the record player, listening to classics like the Beatles, Bowie, The Doors while sitting on the back porch taking in the incredible view of the canal. Bonus was the most efficient washer dryer I used during my 3 week stay in Europe and the large dishwasher. Had we stayed longer, we would have cooked, there was a fully stocked Chefs kitchen. Thanks for the perfect end to our adventure!

Die Unterkunft war sauber und ordentlich. Wir durften etwas eher einchecken und haben hilfreiche infos bekommen. Super nett 💛 Die Nacht auf dem Hausboot war eine tolle Erfahrung. Die Gegend ist wunderschön🙂

wir hatten als kleine Familie einen wunderbaren Kurzurlaub auf dem Hausboot. es war alles vorhanden was man brauchte. es gibt viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu Unternehmen und dass wir schon die Schaluppe benutzen durften war ein absolutes Highlight. Wenn wir eine Frage hätten, bekamen wir immer super schnell eine Antwort. Eine sehr nette Familie, tolles Boot. wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

This boat was such a treat, beautifully presented, spacious, gorgeous views amongst other boats, easy walking around central Amsterdam. The facilities within the boat were top notch, stylish upstairs living space, extremely comfortable beds, lovely bathroom (with the bonus of an upstairs toilet too). If we were there in warmer weather we would have spent more time just hanging out on the deck. Heartily recommend.

Exquisite place, tiny house designed like a boat, where every corner is used and useful. But not too small, we were 3 people and with both beds open there is still place to sit at the table, sit in a couch and move around. Bathroom and kitchen have all it needs. Sleeping on the water was an experience to talk about. The location in the city is close to transports and walkable to the centre across the bridge. We rented their bikes for the day, all impeccable. Easy communication, spotless, fully equipped... all in all one of my best Airbnb stays.

Logement agréable, calme, à 20 min d’Amsterdam. Situé sur l’eau, mais ce n’est pas une péniche. On a passé un excellent séjour.

We hebben fantastische dagen gehad met onze jongens. Hele dagen varen, lekker eten en in de avond lekker op de woonboot. Enorme aanrader.

Wir haben drei wunderschöne und sehr erholsame drei Nächte bei Lieve und Rob verbracht. Die erste Nacht haben wir bei Rob im Hafen verbracht und am nächsten Tag hat er uns raus zum Strand gebracht. Hier am Kanal zwischen Rhein und Maas kann man wunderbar angeln, spazieren gehen oder mit dem Kanu eine Runde drehen. Die Lage und auch die Unterkunft haben uns mega gut gefallen. Lieve und Rob sind zwei sehr nette und freundliche Gastgeber. Wir werden sehr gerne wieder kommen.
