Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Waadhoeke

We had a great stay at Steffen's place. The house was equipped as described, which we have rarely experienced so far, so that we felt very comfortable. The kids went on a voyage of discovery right away and found plenty to deal with wonderfully. We stayed in the house just before Easter and we didn't get bored. Most of the restaurants etc were already open at least on weekends. Only the boat tours start after our departure on April 19. (as information for successors who want to travel in the same period... :-)) Steffen responded super quickly and looked for solutions to problems and always had them ready. Lovely, spacious house in one of the most beautiful places in Friesland, located directly on open water with beautiful views over a lake (It Piel, borders Heegermeer and the Fluessen) and the countryside. Recommended for those who love peace, space and the Frisian lakes.

Unfortunately, my own stay was only of a very short duration, because I became increasingly sick during the first evening. Karin helped us (I stayed here for a weekend with my best friend) with the contact details of the doctor's guard and there, in addition to antibiotics, I got the advice to go out at home sick... So whether my husband still pick me up around midnight. Extremely unfortunate because the cottage had/has everything we had been looking forward to. From a nice dining table to chat at, playing games, being creative, to a really beautifully finished bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bed (I spent a few hours sick there that afternoon so I'll take that experience as a "bonus". My girlfriend was able to explore the beautiful surroundings further after my departure, she stayed there to enjoy the tranquility and did this to the fullest! In the future, we hope for a resit because this location is definitely worth it!

Super nice house! Very spacious and beautiful, private furnishings. You'll see a nice detail everywhere. The village is nice and small, nice to walk through. Lots of old towns nearby.

We stayed in the accommodation over New Year's Eve and felt very comfortable. The location right on the water is a highlight. It is a very quiet area, so highly recommended for a relaxing break.

Super nice! Ideal area in a cozy village. The call bus from Dokkum is also very nice for if you don't have a car. Owner is communicative should you have any questions or can't find something. Should you get cold, there are enough blankets throughout the house to endure a Russian winter. Wonderful!

We found our way around right away. Sandra contacted us directly with questions and gave us tips for our stay. She's a great host and brought us a carrot and fresh eggs. We had a great time. The pool is quite large and we found space there with 5 adults. The sauna can accommodate about 3-4 people. We are very satisfied and can recommend the accommodation.

The house is really good, amazing ameneties, I would expected having bed linen and towels(offered at 12.50 pp), but other than that the place, house and host were great, clean and the atmosphere is amazing

We were there for a week with our kids and grandma and grandpa. The apartment was super cut and equipped. The sauna was the high light. Everything was easily accessible by bike. Gladly come back.

Ellen and Jaap were lovely hosts, we had an incredible stay at their place! It was so creatively and artistically decorated, and I have never slept better at an Airbnb — the beds were so comfortable, and the neighborhood was so peaceful. It was awesome to have a sweet dog and cat roaming around to make us animal-lovers feel right at home :) 5/5 stars on all levels!

Beautiful house with everything you need within a resort, quietly located 50-100 hundred meters from two beaches. Ideal for family holidays or windsurfing holidays, there are also some bikes in the garage to get around. We can only recommend.

Zilverduin is a beautiful house! The location was our favourite feature; within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Leonie was great with giving us tips about the area and things that were handy like rental bikes which got delivered straight to the house - what a luxury! A few things I would have liked to see though, would be: something to handle the mosquitos in the house and higher quality bedding items (the crib for the baby was below expectations for a house at this price point, as were the pillows). Other than that, the host was easy to reach. There is also a caretaker nearby to speak to incase of any emergency. The host also was kind enough to let us check in early and change our dates last minute all to accommodate our ferry times (which I highly suggest booking WELL in advance, ie weeks, if not months!). She also allowed my friends to bring their service dog even though we notified her late. All in all, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay with two families and our kids!

We had a great extended weekend at this beautiful place. ( 4 adults, 3 children) We lacked nothing. The communication was great, the contact very friendly. A great house, beautiful location, great island.

A beautiful house in a beautiful place. Especially the large living space on the first floor, overlooking the water and a sheltered outdoor space to sit outside (already in April) stand out. The area is accessible, has a lot to do, also within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Very nice and spacious place to relax and cook and dine! The house is located between other (detached) houses but has plenty of privacy and a very well-maintained garden with many cozy seats and user comforts. We loved the hot tub, sauna and BBQ facilities.

Had a wonderful stay at the Princenhof in Oranjewoud. Elbert will let you know how to get in and responds quickly. The Jagershuis is spacious, private and is wonderfully located in the woods. What peace and space. Other than that, everything is available and just great!

We had a wonderful stay at Jill's place. The location was amazing - right on the water, overlooking the sea. The beach is within 5 minutes walking. In the resort you could borrow a boat and dock directly at the private dock at the house and drive a few meters further directly onto the sea. We will be happy to come back. :-)

Great place and accommodation. Went there with 8 people, which was easy to accommodate to. Beautiful surroundings, lots of space for activities and games, both inside and outside. Had everything you can expect, and more (e.g. a sauna, bicycles etc.). We were welcomed by the guest house host, Gea, who welcomed us with coffee and a typical Frysian snack (suikerbrood). Felt immediately at home. Very easy going people and the surroundings are great for outdoors activities.
