Our apartment is located in a very small village in an idyllic valley of the Werra-Meißner district, in the middle of Germany. Here you will find peace and quiet... paired with the luxury of a completely ecologically renovated, stylish apartment. You have 90 square meters of living space, a private entrance and a beautiful, large terrace for yourself. Clay walls and floor/or wall heating create a living environment to breathe. Renovation and furnishing was done with a lot of love for detail. Simply feel good!

Ob Entschleunigung oder Wanderungen im nahen Geo-Naturpark–hier ist beides möglich.

Genießt wohltuende Saunagänge im warmen Holzambiente, entspannt euch anschließend im sprudelnden Whirlpool oder erfrischt euch unter der Außendusche - umgeben von Grün, Stille und frischer Luft. Der großzügige Liegebereich lädt zum Abschalten, Lesen oder einfach zum Nichtstun ein. Hier zählt nur der Moment.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Vacation in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

Holiday home "Ahle Schinn" Relax on the Werra

Our cottage is a half-timbered house in "Klein Venice", the old fisherman's houses in front of the city wall and is limited by the Werra, the Werrabrücke and the old city wall. In the 1990s it has been lovingly renovated and has been modernized since then. Families with children are welcome! Cots for toddlers and high chairs are included at no extra charge. The ground floor is used by a café with beer garden, from which you can also be taken care of on request.

Half-timbered idyll surrounded by nature

Our family-friendly apartment is idyllically located on the Werraufer of the small village of Kleinvach, near the city of Bad Sooden-Allendorf in the middle of Germany. The cozy apartment on the ground floor of our half-timbered house can accommodate 2-5 people and serves as a perfect starting point to discover the beautiful nature of the region and to slow down the body. Special comfort of the apartment is a fireplace and the sunny terrace on the Werraufer.

The annex was completely expanded in 2019. It has become a real gem and we are pleased to offer this modern guest apartment in a prime location. In the immediate vicinity is the swimming lake at the leisure center, but Lake Werra is also just a short walk away. On the way there is an EDEKA supermarket. And the city center of Eschwege can also be reached in 25 minutes on foot. Around Grebendorf there are a number of hiking and cycling trails.

The cottage is quietly located between pasture and the edge of the forest, right by the Hoher Meissner hiking area. 7.5 km from the Heilbad Sooden-Allendorf an der Werra. On 60 m² there are two bedrooms with double beds, a living room with a cozy fireplace and sofa bed as well as a well-equipped kitchen and shower room. Visit the beautiful half-timbered town of Wanfried in northern Hesse. Wanfried is located in the Werra-Meissner district and borders Thuringia. Here you can hike, walk, cycle, swim, canoe on the Werra or sit comfortably in a nearby beer garden. Our apartment is completely refurbished, equipped with a new kitchen and a new bathroom. Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
