The hosts both Caroline and Alexander are very friendly and responsive. Communication was perfect and the check in was very easy. The pictures don’t do the place the justice. It’s so much more beautiful than on the pictures. It’s a wonderful place and very peaceful. The house itself is so well equipped. You can definitely tell that the owners spends a lot time and money to renovate it. The house was super clean. The sauna was a hit, also our children enjoyed it very much. We spend a lot of time playing in the garden and enjoyed a local bier garden. I recommend this house to anyone who values privacy and peaceful space, where you can easily relax surrounded by the forest and enjoy waking up in a exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated house. Will definitely come back.

Claudia was an amazing host. We felt very much at home in the rustic Lohrhäusle. The amenities were excellent, we didn't lack anything. Even coffee, spices, pasta and oil/vinegar were available. The location in the middle of Lohr's old town was perfect for us. Booking and communication with Claudia was easy and timely. Thank you very much.

More of a family house (on the 1st & 2nd floor) than an apartment, really great private. Roller shutters allow you to sleep in the dark. An old building, but nicely renovated inside! We felt very comfortable.

Such a beautiful cabin in picturesque surroundings! We felt right at home. There is everything you need for a quiet break. Heckmühle is a very cute village with great people. We will be happy to come back.

Our 5-day stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The decor was not only beautiful, but also very tasteful and immediately gave us a feeling of home. Particularly noteworthy is the sauna, which turned our stay into a relaxing oasis. The apartment was always clean, which shows how much value the landlady places on cleanliness and comfort. We were greeted with loving care that we so rarely experience. The landlady herself was incredibly warm and always took care of our well-being. The location of the apartment in a quiet and relaxing area perfectly rounded off our vacation. Here you could really switch off and relax. We highly recommend this stay and would come back any time. We had a lovely stay at the apartment. The apartment was very clean and bright and friendly. We felt very comfortable right away. We had a dog with us and it was not an issue. The anteroom to the apartment was awesome because you could clean the dog's paws there and we could take off our street shoes. We will be happy to come back. Probably in the spring.

All good. Rooms are all individually lockable, so be careful not to lock yourself out at night (code was directly above the lock, so not bad). And you should be aware that the pool and garden are of course also used by the residents. Nevertheless, it was very nice that you were allowed to use it as a guest.

This is really great place to stay - you would not say so seeing the property from outside - but it is really superb. In the middle of historical part of city, restaurants literally few steps, but as well like 50m from river bank with long promenade / cycling path and what surprised me - really close to town center, but still super quiet at night. Inside, the house is very modern and loads of equipment - we enjoyed the pool, wellness area, multiple outdoor sitting spaces and great living room with kitchen. Heiko is very welcomming and was a great host.... when I will have the possibility, I will book again for sure.

My three kids and I had a great time staying at the place! The apartment is spacious, the kitchen great and the pool absolutely unbeatable! And the family very nice and helpful hosts. The children were able to "let off steam " , and despite my children's enormous volume, no one complained 🙃 And a big thank you to the neighbor, where we were allowed to get a few tomatoes from the greenhouse. Absolutely recommended !!

We really enjoyed our stay at the goose keeper's house as a group of girls! We had a lot of space in the rustic walls and the beautiful outdoor area. The technical equipment of the kitchen was incredible - microwave, juicer, large toaster, etc. Unfortunately, the pool was not yet ready for the bathroom season. Communication and check-in was easy and hassle-free. We were eating in the pizzeria across the street, totally fine. In addition, there is a hiking trail directly behind the castle, including to Maroldsweisach, where we can recommend the beer garden. All in all, we had a great time in a rather unusual AirBnB!

We had a great time in Claudia's beautiful apartment! The location by the lake is wonderfully idyllic and the apartment is very modern and tastefully furnished. Everything we needed was there. Claudia always responded to messages in a friendly and quick manner. We can fully recommend Claudia and her apartment and would love to come back!

Super nice place to stay in a castle in great surroundings. You can both hike directly from the property into nature, as well as take excursions in the area. The communication was very straightforward and we got immediate support even with a demand during our stay. Absolutely recommended, thank you to the hosts!!! (At this point I would like to mention that the kitchen was really well equipped!!)

Everything worked out great. The apartment was very clean. The furnishings were suitable and nothing was missing in the kitchen. We will come back when we go to Würzburg again.

Everything was there, really everything you could ever need.

The apartment seemed as it has had a brand new renovation, and was very clean. The beds were good, and so was all furniture. The local Wirtschaft is a good place to enjoy a local lunch or dinner.

We had a super nice stay in a spacious and well-equipped apartment. The hike from the house to the vineyards and to the Main, with surprising and warm encounters, made us very happy and rounded off the holiday. Despite our vegan wishes, we were also positively surprised by the culinary environment. Thank you for the time with the cute alpacas, which you took for us, dear Marcus, gladly again! We were guests at Herbert and his family's place over the Pentecost weekend (we had contact with Franzi :)) and felt very welcome from the beginning. Everyone was extremely hospitable, which made our stay particularly pleasant. The accommodation was nice, tidy, very bright and friendly – you can tell that a lot of attention to detail is paid here. We would like to emphasise the cleanliness – everything was really very clean and well maintained. The area is ideal for nature lovers. There are many beautiful paths for walks, which we have used extensively with our dog. He was also warmly welcomed, which was a big plus for us. We were completely satisfied and can definitely recommend the accommodation!
