One-like half-timbered skate on the ground floor

The unique half-timbered skate is a 450-year-old half-timbered barn that has been remodeled for residential purposes. The roof truss and clean cover had to be renewed. Since sheep stables have the property of having a low ceiling height, the small cottage had to be boiled up for 1 m. An estimated 400 new wooden nails have been handmade to get the truss of its ancient look. The old sheepfold floor also found its application in the outer base and as an exterior trim.

Bus route 5005 departs practically from right outside the door. You can reach the apartment via a separate entrance. Welcome to our cottage on the Elbe dyke! Our house and the detached guest house were built in 2021. The guest house is very cozy and stylish with many details, such as furniture, windows, etc., which have been designed and built in individual production and with a lot of love for detail. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a stylishly furnished ambience, this is the place to be. The Elbe Cycle Path and Elbe Dike are about 200 meters from us.

The apartment is located close to the historic Nikolaihof in the southern part of the village, about 20 minutes by bike from Lüneburg. It is about 5 km to the city center of Lüneburg. Two bikes are available for guests. A bus stop to Lüneburg and the surrounding area is very close.
